Right now your logo is more like a banner style and not exactly a logo that would (or could) be used in many places. Some really good points there m8....ITEK has been together almost 1 year now and in this time we have tried to get something to work as a logo and the only things we get are logo that look like they are stickers and came out of a cereal box. The main reason for this problem is they have always been within a box or a circle etc.....I dont think a logo works well like that with us. So i am stuck for ideas for a logo so i am unsure on what i want myself apart from it not to look cartoony and for it not to be in a circle etc. If i had to pick colors i did want for the logo it would have to be black, red, silver. I am hoping to have a possable new design for ITEK skins within a day or 2 depending on how busy my good friend is but if it works out the way i hope then i will show a screenshot of the skin so who ever is interested can get a better idea, But like i said im not 100% sure if its going to work out so i hope i give enough info. And if there is any questions then just ask....And thanks for the help tweaker

Been a while since anyone posted on this....But i was thinking about doing this myself and wondered if anyone has tried this matrox box out yet? Or is there any other ways around this now?

Well the logo does not have to be the same color as the colors we use at the moment because if the logo is right then we will be changing the skin to suit the logo so we will be building the skin around the logo instead of the other way around like we tried in the past. We are just after a modern looking logo that does not look cartoony....

Sadly we cant afford to give out a cash prize or we would not be offering this You could do it anyway just to show you could win it

As most of you all know now we struck a deal with 500server.com and they are now ITEK's sponsor and thanks to 500servers we are able to put a prize up for these competitions.

Here is the challenges

Challenge 1:

Design a Logo for ITEK Racing Teams skin....This logo will then be used to design the new ITEK skins for 2007.

The Prizes

1st Prize: 23 slot server + 20 slot teamspeak server for 2 months
2nd Prize: 23 slot server for 1 month
3rd Prize: 11 slot server for 1 month
4th Prize: 20 slot teamspeak server for 1 month


End date has now been changed to 10th October

as krane said, there is a place in both global and specific game settings to adjust the steering lock if you check "use specific wheel settings" at the bottom

if you want to fully use 900degrees for roadcars. you have to set it to 720 ingame. I'm guessing you would set up the g25 the same as the DFP. links to those settings are in my sig below

Here is one of me drifting with the DFP on 900 deg mode. G25 would be something the same i think only that the wheel is little bigger...And yes i do sit that close to the screen because i aint got much room behind me :P And no i am not a drifter...This movie was requested by one of my team m8s lol

I dont think FXR or XRR should get special treatment....Last season ITEK used the FXR and we did fine with it..Yes we did not stand a chance with the top teams with XRR but it was fun beating some of them. I would rather it be down to driver skill than comming first to find a xrr was 2nd lol I think it should be left the same as last season.

Sounds like a great idea to get the cars mixed up...But also good point from Andreas there...Also mean if there is FXR on track racing against loads of FZR's and XRR's then FXR is pointless.

Sounds good and hope its all recorded...Why dont you look over the past posts of each race as alot of us posted about how the race went and how problems came about?

Looking forward to this m8 and its really good news that there is going to be another season.

Seemed are race was doomed from the start.....During the race i was catching #10 very very fast like almost 2 secs per lap and then my team m8 said #10 has spun and i seen him right infront of me and then the carpet grip went on my pedals and my pedals went right under my desk and it was impossable to drive with them but i tried and i had to keep moving them in the end i had to stop off the track and try and fix them...I sorta got them fixed but they were still sliding and i had to keep fixing them. And then my team m8 had problems when he joined and he typed hahaha or something and then we got a DT Penaulty and then on the very last lap we got a flat...Yippie :P Ahh well...untill next time eh. Congrats to cyber yet again for a awsome performace.

Well i thought the commentry was great also....I also liked the music that was being played because it added a little bit of life to it and even more so when he was taking them strange breaks. I downloaded the commentry and was a little disapointed with the quality but that may be down to hardware or whatever but if it was possable better quality would be great Fantastic work anyway it was fun to watch everyone crash out and let me come 2nd on pool 1 lol.

Had a good race myself in pool 1. Race seemed to be very clean from what i seen..Good race guys
