There's your problem, judging from what you say I believe you pretty much went on the first lane in the corner, that's where the failure begins. You pretty much ignored one of their basic rules, don't block the first lane. If you had mirrors, you might have realized (with the current LFS physics cars can catch up pretty quickly) the driver behind getting ready for a pass and that you must allow him to pass you (by not going below the second lane). He bumped you because he was expecting you to leave him room but you didn't so he had to slow down quite considerable, since you said yourself that you eased off the gas pedal as well.
Now if this rule seems unrealistic, pointless, stupid, etc. it doesn't count. It's there server so when you joined a race you agreed to follow their rules. Don't like them, join another server but I think that most have the same rule.
It was probably a one day ban done by the players since I have never seen a FM banning just for that so I think that you should be able to join now.
I used to race a lot on the FM servers, the lads are one of the most friendly and nice team you can find, never had a single problem.
But as said above, the LFS forum is not for naming and shaming. If you really wanted to get back on the server, you should have gone on their vent server or on their forum and discuss the matter there. If you just wanted to "let the people know the truth" and somehow "release your anger and make them pay" , the most plausible one judging from the thread's name, then you pretty much screwed it because it was your fault and made a complete pillock out of yourself by posting
Although I'm not a religious person myself, I believe that being a creationist doesn't really mean being stupid, although believing something unexplainable might seem so, it isn't. Now I can't give you some examples but I think that some of the great minds of humanity where christians.
Just try to not listen to much to media, it uses the basic formula that grief and suffering=more viewers=more money, it can't be trusted and it always shows the world in a pessimistic way.
To give you an example, another documentary has proven that the average IQ raises with 1 point per year so I for one think that you can still put high hopes in humanity.
Yeah, I forgot about that but from what I remember the host usually didn't allowed ballistic units. And it was a challenge in itself to pick a faction with units better this his.
Sorry about the misunderstanding Kev (I can call you that way, right?)
What you quoted was a reference to Medieval Total War 2 but I can be wrong there as well, I played it about a year ago.
Although I used to spent hours in campaign mod, multiplayer was the option if you really wanted a "total war". It was pretty much like a chess match, the only difference being a lot more pawns.
I believe that you are referring to the Insim applications. From what I know, you can't get the sumo application from anywhere because it was never released for public use and I have to idea of the existence of a destruction derby Insim .
Guess you'll just have to settle at visiting the respective servers
Weird, I remember the AI trying to flank me, but I believe that the game was set on hard. In normal and easy mod, it's quite easy to win even when there's a ration of 3:1 as said above.
But the AI would really need a bit more I in the AI An example of this from Rome Total War: Expedition to Egypt, I take over Alexandria, the pharaoh doesn't like it so he bring a huge army in front of Alexandria's gates. I'm left only with 6 generals and their bodyguards and 2 cohorts. Cohorts stay in Alexandria, generals go outside and attack the pharaoh and his phalanx bodyguards who are positioned quite reasonable ,for me, in front of a huge army formed by phalanx units and carriages. Pharaoh dies so the entire army, which could have still won without even breaking a sweat, runs away and a big part of it gets killed while running.
I personally loved the series and played everyone since Shogun Total War ,with the exception of Medieval Total War 1. Can't wait for it since I love the idea of having sea battles and having more effective guns.
Although I remember another 16 century Total War-like game. Played the demo but unfortunately forgot it's name so I never had the chance to buy it
Well I know that today's racing cars are extremely safe and the death percentage per year has dropped a lot although I will agree that you can still die . I understand that your average Joe won't afford an F1 team but for the price of a 401, a pair of Razor headphones, a Logitech G25, etc. added up might cost as much as competing for a year in a modest league which I believe would be more rewarding then a simulation could ever be.
That might be but judging from this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v ... yfbhw&feature=related) it looks that it would be a very realistic experience but since it should be more expensive then the 301, I would never be that mad to buy it....unfortunately
