Oh no, not this again. Just leave it be, the devs are not dead at all, they're actually working harder then ever. I'm sure if you would stop posting such threads, they could work faster.
Well if the FZRs can't do a 1:11:00-1:11:20 in qualy then I would be extremely happy since my PB with the FXR so far is 1:11:46 and I can easily do 1:11:50/60s. Guess the FXR isn't such an underdog, is it?
Although his English might not be the best, more then understandable since it isn't his first language, he made a pretty good point there. You are extremely aggressive for no apparent reason really. He didn't attacked you, just said his opinion, no need to call him an idiot.
Just cool down a lot more, trust me, you are missing on a lot if you act like this.
Whatever your opinion is, you have to admit that he has a fair point of view. I mean if you actually analyze what his criticizing, you will agree with him.
But if you resent him so much, then why do you take his words so close to the heart?
I haven't really seen anyone "kissing his ass" in this thread.
Ok, but some people might put that under a question mark since you didn't said that in the first post, you said it after receiving some bad criticism
So what you're saying is that you'd say no to a cheaper, proven to be faster and reliable C6R and rather pick something way more expensive and slower coming from Europe or Asia just for the simple fact that they come from the respective continents?
He didn't posted in your thread so now you're instigating him to do exactly that? Why try to start a flame war? He probably can't be bothered since he knows it would be a waste of time because you won't actually listen to what he says
To keep more on topic, the vid was pretty alright but it got repetitive after 1 minute and you should try to work on camera angles and on the vid's quality.
Anyway, since it seems that I have gotten positive replies, I think I should start to post it on some forums starting with this one (http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=12) because of obvious reasons (http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=111711). The problem is that's where the lists end so I would like to kindly ask you if you know about other gaming forums?
Any link to such a forum would be greatly appreciated
Now that is a one million dollar question. Like I said in countless other posts, everything in life is relative so the definition of an "average gamer" is not really that clear or precise, atleast for me.
I'll tell you that when I used the term I was thinking about myself. I consider myself as an average gamer (although I've been a petrol head since I remember) and If I wouldn't have found LFS's demo in a CD from a gaming magazine, I would have missed one of the best sims out there for sure.
As much as this sounds as an excuse, I should mention that I was planning on editing my previous post and adding "Fair enough, what kind of words should I use then?" phraze but I wrote it pretty late so I went to bed ,totally forgetting to add it.
Your choice sounds a bit extreme to me, I was thinking more about "You probably never heard of it, due to the fact it isn't advertised the usual way/pubicly/worldwide/etc. Definetely without the EA line since there are some people that buy their games and like them.
I tried to make the kind of review you would find in a magazine. I posted it here to get the opinions of people that use it on a weekly basis and to tell me if I should change or add something. And if I get somewhat of an approval, I might post it on gamer forums.
I'm sorry but how will your average gamer find out about LFS if they've heard about it for the first time in this revie?
Same thing actually, average gamers usually don't go to conventions so without main-stream advertisement ,magazines and TV reviews, they might never find out about LFS.
The fact that it isn't finished doesn't stops it from getting bought with money. So if you look at it from another point of view, you can say it's pretty much finished and it is just patched more frequently then other games.
To asnwer your question, yes but that's not the reason. That was me failing at making a cheesy iJoke mocking all the "i or e + word" named virtual shops and computer related products on the internet just to make them look cool
