If they are waiting in the racing line for a pack to come around to wreck them, "/ban USERNAME 999" is the ONLY choice. Simply put, those idiots don't warrant your time if you are putting an effort forth to provide a good place for LFS racers to compete, whether it is demo or S2.

If a guy is simply only wrecking one person in the heat of competition, warn them first. If they continue, kick them. If they come back and do it again, or argue, ban them. It's your server. Be fair, but be more fair to the people that don't cause trouble. They will thank you for it.

Danny,

Let me clear the air about a couple of things.

1) I am glad to see that you speak with your potential team members on MSN prior to letting them join. I would challenge you to be even more selective, though. Most of the guys, if not all, that have joined CoRe Racing have been friends of the team for a period of time that let us be comfortable with them before we asked them to join. Notice that? "Before WE ASKED THEM to join." That means that after we were comfortable with these drivers and had raced with them for a while, did we decide to ask them to join. In some cases, even after they were asked, we still took a vote about whether to add them. Anyway, just remember it only takes one bad apple to ruin the bushel. CoRe Racing is also not concerned about being the "best" team, but we are extremely selective of who we add. And because of that, we do have a very strong team. More importantly, they are a very good group of guys to be around.

2) Preston was not kicked and subsequently banned from LOTA servers for wrecking in the sense that you may think. He caused accidents after joining mid-race, while being lapped, and then proceeded to use vulgar language to argue and lay blame on the other driver, who was clearly not at fault. After we warned him to settle down, he was kicked for continuing his assault. He came back to argue once more, again with a fair bit more vulgar language, which I won't tolerate. He was then perma-banned. A couple of days later, I got word from the Wrecker's Barricade that he had been reported. I reviewed the replay, and proceeded to perma-ban him from the CoRe servers as well. And YES, he was wearing a Moo tag when he was banned, but no, I don't remember the exact date.
