It's fun to work out what the next car is from the engine sound on the shots pointing away from traffic. Being trackside is always a special thing. Best bit has to be the one after 9 minutes, can't quite work out where at Sebring that is...
alms site down
not paying for espn3
fiawec on livestream has a black screen
dailymotion has decent enough video (though a lot of tearing) but the sound is far too loud so had to get RLM on
is perfectly acceptable: when you have a computer than isn't from 10 years ago, when there's not that big enough of a difference to buy W7, and when the main problem with Vista - the thing between the keyboard and chair - is actually sensible
Ahead of the opening WEC round at Sebring, I went and found some pics from Petit Le Mans last year, a lot of good ones but I quite liked this one of the Labre GTE-Am Corvette
Le Mans/WEC now has a Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze driver rating system (page 20 in the WEC regs if you want to have a read) - with LMP2 requiring a Silver/Bronze driver and GTE-Am only allowing one Platinum/Gold driver.
And yes to a drivers' championship with a minimum driving time to score points. For the 6 hr races in WEC this is 45m for LMP1/GTE-Pro and 75min for LMP2/GTE-Am. I suppose for 3hr GT2WS races 30m would be fine.
I should probably make a few more as most of the cameras are already done from other configs, just got to work out which ones then copy and paste them into the files and adjust the nodes.
Don't worry, you aren't as trollable as the iRacing forum. The IQ there is even lower than Matt's.
We know rain + ovals isn't gonna happen (though I'd love someone to test it for real), but the picture is applicable for NASCAR + drizzle at Watkins Glen.
Here's a camera set for the broadcast, you need to rename it AS3Y.cam. The real track is called A23R and not A25, and it's on the wrong track base, so you need to get A23R.pth from Airio, rename it AS3Y.pth and put it in the TVD pth folder.
