Sorry but honestly I'm not in the habit of adding random chicanes to parts of the track, especially not where there's no room for one. A flat out kink doesn't need one, the pitiful excuse for a "chicane" by Eric did need one to stop cutting, suspension damage and to make overtaking possible.
Sorry should've posted but I'd half-finished the K33 chicane last week, just got round to completing it today. They have 10 of the smallest marshals with armco around them to stop anyone inadvertently getting spectated. Tested it out and I can't crash and get spectated, and there's no way through (at speed) when the objects aren't there.
Well some people decided to call it after me because I was the first one to actually make the layout, but the idea of slowing the chicane down had been around for a while, I just took it to the extreme. For me, and I'm sure many others, KY3 just does not work in its original format, with all of the major leagues that have ran the track choosing to add the chicane layout there. If there's demand then I'm sure we could add KY34 with the original chicane.
F31/2 seems fine, will get Phil to update the OP soon
Well in car view normally gives a tiny bit less than wheels view, and maybe follow but I've never really tested it - obviously on open configs you'll have less FPS to play with so the effect will be magnified...
And Pete, you didn't even bother to reply to a member of your own team who was trying to help you, so what chance do we have to get you to listen Though if you get 20fps what the hell were you getting before you turned your graphics down?
Well now that we've finalised 40 open config layouts, half of which are supported by Airio, it's now easier for server owners to take the pack and load a layout knowing it can save PBs, other Airio functions will work, and that the layout is made to a high standard
I can only assume you haven't bothered to look at the A13/A76 layouts in the latest pack, because the "banana" layout that you suggested and EQ christened, plus the extended North version, are in there.
I need to stop failing - seems like I didn't actually move the splits in the ones that I saved and copied over to dropbox. F31R has the split where it should be at the island, and F32R has the split at the same place as FE3 - so just have a quick look at those
1. - hmm seems like a mistake on our part so you're safe to rename them. Phil added in the Silver alternative so that F25 kept its number
2. - I had considered that, but felt that we'd just keep them on the same layout base track for now and see what you had to say about it. The thing that I'm concerned about is that if you split them into like, AS1, AS2, AS3, AS4 and AS6, you need to reload the track more often than if you just keep the AS1/2 depending on the pitlane and reload the layout. Dunno really...
But if you could update the tracklist as well and include it with Airio that'd be lovely.
Ok, here's all of the layouts apart from the half-finished banana one.
Some notes:
cleaned up most of the Aston layouts (only moved a split in A29)
changed your B21 barriers to armco/bales
added Island configs for F31-3, moved split 2 to the Gold position on F32 and to the middle of the island on F31/3
cleaned up and make other FE layouts consistent, moved F41/2 split 2 to the oval
perhaps F21 I think it is needs its mini-oval split lengthened
Maybe if retards like Perez weren't disobeying waved yellow flags and diving up the inside of other cars then there'd be less SCs needed - a 10s stop-go should've been the minimum penalty. Also maybe there was a yellow flag at the pit exit that we couldn't see, or maybe, just maybe, Vettel should have enough brains to notice a car being dragged back up the pit exit especially given the car was to the side of the track for the past couple of laps...
As for Lewis' penalty, probably deserved but he just needed to creep it forward a bit to give himself more room for a doughnut.
Well it is a money-making business with a sim on the side, but not a scam. You can do a decent amount of racing without buying content, and don't need to buy much to do a whole lot more.
Unfortunately you joined in week 13, in between each 12 week season where they deploy updates and there's only 1 official road and oval series for everyone to join for free. So I'd just suggest going into practice sessions and trying it out, new season starts on Tuesday GMT.
Ah good, before all the yanks get up, going along at 700+KB/s and completed in a few minutes.
No problem with the hosting guys, had some credits for a new subscription but I can spare $1 for some, hope we can do it again sometime, with heat racing
Well the only way to watch live Premiership and SPL football is through internet streams, and there's no shortage of them. So I wouldn't worry about being able to watch them live, plus there's also RFM.
Exactly, some people see the evil Murdoch empire yet forget about the other newspaper groups and the BBC, but you can ignore the former and say f off to Mirror/AP/News Int - how does one say f off to the BBC if you want to watch other channels?
Anyway, for me there's some motorsport I'll watch live all the time - F1, BTCC and the support races. Others I'll watch intermittently on the internet, and also see what these races are like (GP2/3, Indy, (A)LMS, etc) and watch them later if they are any good. Ultimately, F1 on Sky will become like that for many.
