Quote from Ghost.. :Yeah, but as it seems, like i'm a retard at those stuff, i need outside help evidently

We were all retards once, but by learning and reading you become smarter

Quote from Ghost.. :As i sayd, im not a programmer, so i cant find any values anywhere

So, if I understand correctly, I can see the recorded data on somekinda spreadsheet in (LFS) folder, as recorded data of laptimes and fuelconsumption? (" Also attached is the text file of times Aonio produces.")

And looking a the text you posted, I seriously cant work out what is what. Loads of numbers, no tags. :O

Yeah, okay. I get it, that its nearly impossible to get all the data without using ATLEAST OutGauge?

And to MadCat : Go ahead, if you feel like it, it whould make life easyer for people, who dont understand computers/programming/coding much

Aonio will produce a list of laptimes yes, you should be able to import that into a spreadsheet for working out averages etc. I don't get what you're on about with tags... the data is: username, track, car, lap number, splits, lap time.

Fuel data isn't produced, but the laps remaining on current fuel is shown in Aonio. I don't really know why you need fuel data anyway - what do you do now to calculate fuel usage? Do 10 laps, check fuel used, work out % per lap?

Quote from Ghost.. :Eh. Your saying its not possible to count laps or fuel from lfs.exe without InSim? There must be... I dont know much about programming, thatswhy im issuing it here, but I think there's a way to set something running via .exe to LFS. Maybe its possible to get data via RAM? (Maybe just 5mb ram use :O)

And to MadCat: Well, if I use Aoino, i could get distracted about watching laptimes etc. If its minimized on desktop and I see normal LFS race screen people wont get distracted about average time over 3 laps or fuel used etc. And who whould use it besides me? Well, I offered such an idea up to Cargame.nl, some seemed rather interested. It would improve our skills aswell.

Im asking for it, because im a simple person, i dont know much about software nor computers. I want a software, that I run and programmed stuff records the data for further analysing. I've read that ingame you have to write something /insim=299999? smthin. And than i run something and it just confuses me. I might sound like a complete retard, but i've tryed and tryed. I just didnt get it working not with Aonio nor any other telemetry app posted to forum.

I hope i've clarified enough

Fuel is from outgauge. If you can somehow find the memory values from RAM then be my guest at making an app.

You can turn Aonio buttons off by press shift + B, make sure you read the documentation because it's all in there http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9725404/lfs_00000032.bmp is an example of basically everything on Aonio, just to show you - but I only have half of that stuff on. Also attached is the text file of times Aonio produces.

Also you don't need to type "/insim=29999" every time - just add it to the LFS/data/script/autoexec.lfs text file.

Quote from Ghost.. :Yes, but that uses .NET frame and InSim aswell. But cant it be made layoutwise and usewise, like LFSTweak. I dont need to change anything on LFS (Not Tweak comp.), but i hope you catch my drift here. It whould be good, if i'd join a training session, crack this thing on and drive a stint, and later maybe minimize LFS when im finished. It whould be like a quiet smurf on my shoulder, counting laps and fuel :O

I don't get you. How can you possible get lap times etc without connecting to LFS via insim? LFS stats, Aonio + a spreadsheet, and even the WolleT MoE tracker can do what you want if you know PHP/MySQL.

Quote from Scawen :Maximum qualifying time increased from 60 minutes to 240 minutes

Good stuff, that's been an annoying "feature" of LFS One small request if possible (to fix another annoying feature) - could setting the number of laps above 100 be fixed so that it doesn't go in 10 lap increments? I can't think of a reason why you could have a 110 but not 111 lap race, and it would be a good bug to quash Anyway, don't forget to enjoy the sun

Phantom 4x!!! Though let's be honest, you're pretty shit at avoiding incidents

It's funny with Oulton though, they scanned it with Zolder ages ago and you can see how long it's taking them to do - to think we criticise Eric when iRacing can't even get it finished :|

Quote from DeKo :So you would rather pay money to Murdoch and BSkyB than to the BBC?

I'm sure he'd rather have the choice to pay for neither if he did not wish to watch F1, which at the moment isn't possible.

Quote from GreyBull [CHA] :Church break?

Assume it's so they can have peace and quiet for a bit, in the village(s), I know at a few British tracks (Croft, Oulton, Thruxton) there's either no racing until noon or a gap in the morning's activities.

Aonio can produce a text file with a list of laptimes etc, it also gives estimated laps remaining with your fuel, an Airio-style pb/tb thing, etc.

It works perfectly well on Z30+, you can place some great cameras behind the fence. However it doesn't work on open configs, due to the lack of nodes being sent from LFS notifying TVD about the position of cars, and the lack of .pth files for the custom configs for TVD to load.

If you disable autoclutch now, the fact you have button clutch is now correctly reported via insim - previously you could switch between manual/button on track without it being detected. So hopefully lfsw will now be able to detect button clutch, and disallow it if Victor wishes.

Quote from TypeRacing :Wrong. Every driver wants to get as high finish as possible.

But in this case Maldonado didn't finish, so he failed in his aim for the weekend. He was sitting pretty for some 6th (or 7th) placed points. You cannot control other people's actions, but you can control your own, and at T1, with Hamilton deciding to stick one up the inside, the only course of action available to Pastor that would result in him finishing the race would be to not turn in on Lewis. He took a gamble, turned in, and it ended up with him in the wall

If you read my previous post, I said the rally was on Sunday, and you missed it. There is no need to get the password or practice because the new layouts for Round 1 at South City haven't yet been released.

Can we have those for FZR/XRR please?

Quote from [Audi TT] :Sir, we are talking about hotlaps. In hotlaps slicks R3 is not used, apply in training or qualifications. But I support the idea of individual heated front and rear wheels.

So why does the FXR KY3R WR, and many UFR/XFR/FXR WRs use R3/R2 then?

Must've missed that from earlier - but would you still allow full layout control of non-lfs world hotlaps? Would be useful for doing hotlaps on open configs. Ignore me if I'm talking shite.

Read you Jabba, he just said that you can now place objects, ie chalk/markers, in hotlap mode

Quote from Makao :Very nice event, everything has gone fast and clean, but I am still not sure why the layout which I've downloaded from OP was diffrent than the server one.

Hmm maybe I got the names wrong, we originally had 3 stages from WE saved on the server, so as Phil would say, DANGIT

Well thanks for turning up everyone, tracker worked smoothly at the end, a bit hard to tell who's winning but easy to see at the end. Personally I think PMD's XRT should become a taxi for the next round

But we welcome any comments on how to improve it for the first round proper

Quote from JCTK :well done to the Toro Rosso that produced this massive crash. It looks like they cant clear this up before the end of the race.

Both Toro Rosso should be banned from the sport~! They have caused too many colisions!!

FFS Jaime ran over the back of Lewis, then Buemi punt Petrov into the wall all in the same incident? Are they both blind or are they bloody brainless idiots?

You should send over some of your mind reading and future predicting skills to them, they clearly didn't know about the Force India with 3 wheels on his wagon.

Quote from faze-one :

i made 1.26 on WRC Stage 1 (bl3) someone told me its a good lap... so.... i want be in !!! =)

(and i can make some layout for u, i was teh layout maker for CAD and UM21 knows me)

Regards, polow

We should be fine for layouts, we've got at least 4 layouts for SO/KY/AS/FE rounds

Sent out PMs to the latest 3 signups, also added the passwords to the servers. The username "peppe" can't be found and has 0 miles so I don't think they'll take part. Also, check the signups page, if you have a red box then you need to change something, ie new number or actual name.

That was a decent race considering I'd done < 10 laps in a row on the race set. Regretting what could've been though, made up 3 places on lap 1 before the guy in front of me went through a tyre in the chicane leaving me nowhere to go but into the back of him and off the road. Lost about 10 seconds but it was the positions lost that cost more time in the scheme of things. But then it pisses you off more when the guy you hit then goes off later in the lap and ragequits

A shame also that someone didn't follow the rules, an SC would've come in handy on lap 48ish and allowed me to unlap myself. Hope I didn't get in anyones way getting lapped. Ah well, have fun in the ovals, can't cope with all that turning left on a gamepad

We have people in the iRacing forum asking them to create some fantasy tracks, for the sake of variety. You'll never please everyone

Also, shallow banking doesn't always mean simpler, crazy banking makes it easy to take flat out most of the time, so the unique Rockingham oval should be more of a challenge that Kyoto for example.

But what is Indy, if nothing more than a oval speedway with a infield road course? Same with Daytona, and other tracks. You wouldn't say no to those though.

Quote from Lionclaw23 :Best wishes to Pérez.

And maybe Lewis would be on pole if his fans would know the difference between 'of' and 'have'

He was clearly giving a grammar lesson for the first 5 minutes of the session.
