Quote from dougie-lampkin :I've made my own Z-compatible camera hack, and taken an image at 1280*720, at 1150 metres. If you'd prefer a different angle, resolution or height, let me know. I can do up 1900*1080, but it involves adjusting my monitor. Let me know if you'd prefer that I could lower the FOV too if you like, maybe it's a bit high?

Apreciated dougie, ill check your picture =D
EDIT:
ok, that was a excelent pic. but i need (if its not too much to ask) a 1900x1425 resolution (4:3) of that with a low FOV (i need the carpark focused, i need it big =D) then ill make the apropriate adjustements.
By the way Thanks in advance dougie =D.

Now for the other replies:
@ mutt107 go to google and search "generally forums". you will find the official forums hosted on rsc forums.
@ S14 DRIFT i agree because it doesnt have enought good features yet.
@ kingfag yeah dev-cpp was giving the problem, im using codeblocks now. on the forum they say that dev-cpp has this kind of bug. and the acceeration isnt infinite anymore =D
@ gnomie thats because the way i simulate the turning and the location of the turning axis of the car.
@ marzman dont worry though, its very safe to drive (untill i implement the hardcore physics =D)
@ Nitrous13270 brake reworked, its strong now, but dont expect brake fading.
@ Stefani24 yes, physics are from my head, i try to make this as close to gran turismo style driving according to my experieces. the REAL deal is coming later hehe

New update released... feels weird to say it =P...
the real physics are not yet implemented. the car still wont go sideways if acelerating under turning (there is no oversteer or understeer) or tyre lock under heavy braking.

ill make an option to maybe allow the car to jump form one edge to another instead of bumping on it.

OMG HACKER! =P
nice one, but i don't think hacking this will make you win races xD
im thinking about increasing the area size but i need some good resolution bitmaps of the carpark of blackwood. i could get myseld by playig the game but this computer is 800mhz with onboard video so it sucks very.

UPDATED useless app, first post.
lol for the mod =P
well i think now ill start to implement some morec coherent physics.
maybe create a bigger screen for the car to run.
later on ill be making bounding boxes, but i think thats kinda lame for diagonal shapes...

The log is showing an error message that relates to missing directories wich i checked and theyre allright... that error 1 god damnit

Wiring them together???
on the same spot you connect the wires for one, you connect for the other, make them work in parallel i guess... if you put them by the side of the wheel axis, one on the left and the other on the right, i think you dont need to do anything else related to it.
EDIT: why wouldn't they work in parallel? theyre getting the same info(same eletric pulses...) or is it because the pulse must have a minimul voltage?

heh i have over 250mb of generally files on my drive ...
Update: im just making a HUD like stuff like speedometer and others... but suddenly Dev-cpp gave me an error wich is... bad. on the forum they told me to get MSVC++2008... thats what im doing.

UPDATE - 05/31/2009

- Code redone completely. I'ts cleaner now and the variables are much more organized.
- Track is just plain tarmac at the moment. For now im focusing on making this work.
- Only XRT for now. Sirocco to be included =D (IF everything works fine with XRT, i'll include the other cars)

Physics:
- Engine simulation is rubbish but does the work alot better than i expected (maybe its not rubbish at all
- My algorithm is capable of simulating different torque curves (like higher torque on higher RPM for competition cars and etc.)
- slipping is VERY rubbish for now. the car pivot is exactly on the center of gravity for now.
- I bet no more speeding into oblivion bug.

Weird stuff:
- While turning hard, the car begins to slide. if it slides too much it can lead to an unstable behaviour.
- Shifting from 5th to 1st may lead to weird torque behaviour, but nothing game breaking.

if you find any bugs/have any suggestion about ANYTHING, leave your comment =D

By The Way This Is A Test. Don't Expect Much, but it's fun.

PS: im keeping the old file here also.

Had to bump this, i got some questions about this.
I have a Genius Speed Wheel Force Feedback wich sucks but works relativelly well. I am trying to build my wheel using a circuit board i itend to buy next week, i got everything allright BUT the force feedback. i want to know how to get the force feedback from the game and make it work on my future wheel?
should i use my old wheel's FFB stuff? (or use only the circuit board to run the FFB motor?)

This is the next level of skin design. Just wait for Eric to start designing the engine and inner parts of the car. It will be the SICKKEST SICKNNESS of the Sicking SICK. Just sick.

It's FACKEN awesome Lynce... you're getting better and better!
PS: I think you can notice that the driver skin is not perfectly mapped, maybe the skin got out of place?

I used to do that... i actually found, with some testing, that walking sideways sometimes decreases the times it takes from the computer to the bathroom and other parts of the house.

Maybe testing stupid things racing related is an effect?

Please no numbers with a 0 in front. The numbers 01,1,2,3,4 are reversed for the Kyoto 500, LFSCART Driver's and LFSCART Team's champions.

Erm... shouldn`t it be "reserved"?

Put me in the reserve list too... i dont know if ill be able to go somedays, but im very interested.

nachoo was good but i felt a formula car wouldnt destroy the front wing like that. Fuse5 felt more natural with the damaged bumper wich looks like the car reached the limits at some point =D

I have to say, this pack brings my LFS to life, along with some Gill4Life engine sounds and those Skid/Scrape/Wind V2 sounds, i feel like playng LFS S3...
True story.

Keep up the good work.

Mine is F2, i removed one Smile.

I'd be expecting (i'd rather choose too) a motorcicle, since its been proven that LFS already has a base physics for bikes (you can find in youtube)
Would be... Supreme.

You know you've played LFS too much when:

You avoid parking near barriers, coz you may hit them and you know what happens next.

OR...

When you have been overtaken and is looking for the F2 (good pass) button.
