Why not add one more FFB motor? (from the momo, maybe buy broken wheels to use their FFB's or see if you can find on junkyards.... lol)

I say one of the reasons is the wheel turning 2x more. another reason is the AC. If you can, check the box of the Momo to see what kind of voltage it works on, and apply it. i don't remember wellm but using an AC with a different settingm will not burn the device and will increase the strengh, to a limit.

Can you be specific about whats happening? weak ffb? (although seeing the pictures i see that i may be strong)
But im guessing the FFB doesnt know the wheel's direction maybe?

I think he means, as the FFB motor produces torque, lets say, x.
with a cogwheel size of 1.
so force equals x/1
if you put a bigger cogwheel (lets say 2)
so now the force will be x/2. !!!!
correct me if im wrong in any of this, and, these numbers don't represent the real thingy.

After some races in CTRA (hoping for the BLGP XFG combo) i started to notice that while slightly slower, with the XRG i get more stable times, sometimes even faster times. I think thats because i slip too much with XFG... and i got the skills to drive a RWD car with mouse.

And for the guy that used high smothing factor with mouse: That just decreases reaction time with the steering wheel(but maybe makes corner entries and weight transfers smoother). Personally i think its bad.

I think that's because Everybody knows how to drive the XFG @ normal BLP...
damn, thats the only combo where i can have any high level competition...
(apart from FBM wich i don't know why, but i do very well in almost all tracks but specially AutoX)

Why don't they(scavier) desing a model based on the F1's? maybe a VFX (V for velocity, F for... hmm and X for... ecks?)

But well, "updating" the F106" is another Lincensing issue. They won the rights to model the '06 car, and not any car. the '08 / '09 is Another car.

Amazing! Thats more than enought proof that LFS's engine is very realistic.

I have tried to play with kb only once... Thats hard because you can't give smooth input into the steering wheel so you spend all the race clicking 1687654654 times per second to face the car as best as possible =D

i use Mouse steering with very low sensitivity (800-600dpi) with the Logitech G5 (this mouse makes the difference)

A > Gear up
Z > Gear down
Q > Handbrake
S > Look Left
D > Look Right
W > Look Back
X > Clutch

Centre reduction is 0 and button rate ranges from 4-8 depending on car.

I think i'll give this a +1. I like the feature. This would be the easiest feature to keep up to date by devs, because implementing a new achievement wouldn't be as hard as coding a physics improvement.

Oh and by the way, don't let those humorous achievements unhidden. Wacky S2 players may find it funny to pursue it and crash at every race they can. That could lead to bad experiences... Just show them the moment they are achieved maybe? and don't be soo hardcore (yellow flag at every lap?? LOL)

You were the one lagging behind me right? I could see in the mirror your car suddenly appearing besind me from nowhere. That scared the helll out of me .
About the wrong side placement: Someone started talking on vent about our positions, ok. But then another person corrected the last person, wich then, i didn`t saw a difference of the cars in front of me. I got scared because after the hairpin they wrere saying " LAST CARS PLEASE GET IN POSITION OMG" and i was "come on move"...

Just made my day.

I coded in C++ with Code::blocks using MinGW compilator. Also used Allegro graphic library for the.... graphics.
And now i am releasing the alpha of the alpha.... check first post.

I tried to keep formation but the car in front of me was on the wrong side of the track, and chris was afraid to come near the competitor in front of him...
BTW.... this start was very f****ing confusing for me.
