Like in ESCC prequalifying system with the tracker but with 4 combos and 4 different drivers from each team. Sum the times up and do the ranking. Pretty easy uh? ...
After every three races fix the divisions like suggested; 4 lowest down, 4 highest up.

Maybe a misunderstanding here. The LFS LeMans League is an old server that Jayhawk, the origin starter of this league runs. I don't know why he haven't change the name on it, it still run the combe we had in Race 3 I think. We have nothing to do with this server. Try to contact Jayhawk and see why you got banned and/or just use the link Jakq gave you.
I've been in these discusion before. The time zones fact is a hard nut to crack.
We have discussed to run a BOTT before you Fusion guys started yours, so we never launched it. The format is completely different though.
What it should solve is the main issue here ... the time zone issue.
If you guys are opened and interested in changing format to something completely different it would be a solution to the problem. But before I suggest the format I want to see if there really is any interest in changing format or if you consider it as to late to change at all.
Yes we did ... but it wasn't easy to get ppl at that hour ... asfaIk they where all sober and dandy but you never know these days ...
We are a small team with only 7 members so there's isn't plenty of drivers to choose from.
But as said from other teams here, pick the time and we'll do our best. PREFERABLE no later then 19.00 utc.
We have discussed the time a little. Both 20 and 21 UTC is just to late, 20 utc means 22 cest and we are talking about event starting.
Hard to get ppl to run that late, at least on a sober level ...
From what I can see the test patches from W10 is compatible with online racing and Scawen don't say anything about incompatible patch. Have you tryed to join our server?
Sry ... we have to stick with the W26. Since we have the server at 500Servers we can't update it ourselves. No big deal though, most changes is in insim and replays.
For us it means that the GTR cars have different weight handicap.
The new handicap:
FXR: 0 kg (no change)
XRR: 40 kg (-10 kg)
FZR: 80 kg (-20 kg)
Of course this change the restricted cars in the GT2 class. We would like to test a little before we finally decides the restriction.
Right now I test with the same bhp/ton which is around 318 bhp/ton. That means:
FXR: 26%
XRR: 25%
FZR: 18%
The server TeamXFR3 have the newest patch installed so you can test there if you want.
Now is the LFS LeMans League server opened with the W26 test patch.
One question; When I watch the balance by the three GTR cars there's NO handicapp mass reduction, only the volonteer one? This means all the GTR's are in the same bhp/ton now, XRR and FZR weight are 1100 kg and the FXR 1120. A bug or do you now have balanced the cars "inside"?
With restriction of 26%, 26% and 20% you get around 350 hp and good balanced hp per ton.
With 50% fuel we got low-middle 2.22 on Kyoto GP with all the cars pretty stable in some 5 laps races with only slightly modified sets. (Me as a slowpoke got about a second slower)
I think these times are pretty good balanced as a GT2 class and don't really agree upon you saying we need around 400 hp. I don't think this a bigger question though. If the admins of MoE really want those 400 hp test we could do that, but for now our opinion is that 350 hp seems to be the best option.
In the LFS LeMans league we are going to test a GT2 version. The restriction is going to be 26% for FXR and XRR, FZR is going to have 20%. At the moment we don't discuss any weight increasing, but it could be tested later on. This might be a good event to test these strangled cars ....
This is the final event in this league and is going to be around 2,5 h at Kyoto GP. I guess it's going to be at least one stop for the GT2, a good test run.
Unfortunately it's the same day as the 24h event, Saturday May 26th, but nothing we could do about it.
It's a single driver event though and there might be some drivers out there who wants to run in our event, all is welcome though : http://www.lfsforum.net/forumdisplay.php?f=96
