Really bad car, combined with a total lack of confidence as a result of going from being at the top of the grid at Race 1 to battling for low points in the last few races.
If it had been me in his position, I'd be slightly pissed off.
I just think he's lost that spark. What I liked about the old Montoya was that he tried to be different, tried to get the most out of the car, even if that wasn't necessarily by driving like the car was on train tracks. I think he's been told by both Williams and McLaren that he has to be more consistent and by doing so he's lost those few tenths.
Interesting question, Do you think F1 is the hardest type of 4 wheeled motor sport on the planet today? Personally I think not. WRC would come above it for me, as would Ice racing and maybe the WTCC
I watched the 10 lap race, and yes Faster wasn't exactly rule abiding. But you are just as bad, at one point you were looking for him to ram him off the road :S.
Right ok, thanks. Thinking about it I'd just ask someone at the station and I'm sure they'd help. About getting down, I'll see sooner to the day but I have no problems using the train to get down. Bit of an adventure... I don't get out much :P
Ok, So I'm going to book my train tickets down to Northampton this week.
Virgin Trains seems the cheapest option from Derby, but I haven't got a clue what I have to buy. I don't use the trains much.
If I buy an open return ticket (£29), does that mean that I can travel on any train back to Derby or will it have to be specific trains. I've got no problems setting the journey to Northampton, I have to go via Birmingham, Rugby and Nuneaton for the 3 stop version or just Birmingham and Rugby for the 2 stop. It's the return journey I'm struggling with.
The reason I'm thinking of getting a open return is in case any of us stop around on the Sunday. What are people thinking of doing?
I'm currently on here waiting for my mate to pick me up. Oh and at the same time watching (and listening) my girlfriend making what appear to be orgasm noises whilst see sleeps... Strange!
Like I said from our previous conversations, I'm really looking forward to it and I'm glad to help. Guys this really is a good fun league with great racing.
vMax are fully behind the league too and are proud to donate a server for race nights.
Everyone welcome our newest recruit, Toni, to vMax.
Toni, or Matrixi, as you may know him on these forums, still has a commitment to a drift team. But he's agreed to keep all racing under vMax tags, and all drifting under his drift team name
He impressed us in the trial with brilliant control of the cars and a good turn of speed. We're very pleased to have him in vMax.
I'll admit, when I was first introduced to LFS, oval racing is where I spent all my time. The reason...it's easy to get up to speed quickly.
I wouldn't of met the people I have within spdo (my old team) and I wouldn't of seen the light and started track racing without the oval servers up and running.
