Browsing through my old post history, I came upon this thread and read it for the memories.
The above Focus is still going strong after 4 years and 20000 miles. It will never die. I think I definitely got my £1100 worth.
Just eat LOADS (like 10 items one after the other) and you'll soon get better.
I found an M4 last night with 60 rounds of ammo, and also a Hunter's backpack. I decided to swap my kit over to the new pack (it was slightly smaller than the hiking rucksack I've got, but camoflaged instead of bright red) and the server kicked me out while I still had my entire inventory all over the ground.
To top it, I couldn't remember which server I'd been on (the 'History' tab needs some timestamps), entered the wrong one (so lost all my stuff), and got killed as the room I was in was full of players as I joined.
FML.

Got this in the Steam sale and I'm finally getting somewhere. I finally built something that would get to orbit without destroying itself on the way up, and last night managed to orbit the Mun.
With the Science earned on that trip I was able to unlock the landing legs, so hopefully I can plant a flag tonight.
It's so addictive, I LOVE creating maneuvers to slingshot round the various bodies.

I'm having a hard time finding it. But that's exactly how CG should be.
The more I see things like that, the more I start to think that Fox News doesn't actually stand by any of their stated beliefs and it's all just the biggest and most elaborate troll the world has ever seen.

I keep finding my guy will stop being able to run. I have to disconnect and reconnect to the server to fix it. I also found this seems to magically fix broken legs if you fall off something.
I've not found any guns yet, but my favourite weapon by far is the fireman's axe. I've been gleefully one-shotting zombies with it all evening. My guy is now quite the badass (by newbie standards) with the aforementioned axe, a motorbike helmet, a fully stocked 1st aid kit and a stylish pair of Rayban Aviators.

I imagine it was for not making a single post that wasn't just a one-sentence troll in about 2 and a half years.
Just had my first go. I spawned by the lighthouse and began working my way through the little villages following the railway tracks. I found some gloves, a wrench and an empty backpack on a farm, saw one zombie who gave chase, but which I managed to lose round some buildings.
I eventually starved to death an hour and a half later just before I reached a largeish town, as the only food I'd been able to find was a single rotten apple.
Awesome fun however, more awaits tomorrow!
