Thanks for pointing that out! I hadn't seen it because I forgot to test a white background. Anyway, I updated it (see first post). The stuff around the vents should be a bit better visible on white now aswell.
After I saw a lot of helmet skins based on a very old template by me, I decided to make a much better one.
So here it is. I added a preview. It also has a wireframe.
I tried to create a Arai GP-5 helmet as close as possible to the real one, including the vents, lighting, logo and the attachment for the HANS-system.
I think this is the closest I can do at the moment. Feel free to use it, skinners!
About the template, very nice you guys are using it. However, I have made a better one. But last time I wanted to improve it, and that worked. But then after I saved it to JPG, the program crashed and I have no up-to-date psd.
So I''ll work on that, and hope to release it soon.
It's nice. But this many crashes and mistakes and it says "120 of the worlds best driver", seems a bit contradicting? And since it's a promo, it should promote the racing, right? :P
Looks really nice. I'm just wondering. Would something like this work on a different pc outside the local network of someone who's racing? Say, a teammate?
The biggest event of the year, the 24 hours of Aston Grand prix is coming up! Organised by Masters of Endurance. For that occasion it was time for something special...
Well, to be honest. "Braking, turn left" doesn't really add much. Its stuff like where to use all curbstones, turn in late or early. Those things help.
Hehe. Really nice. It's a bit over-the-top, but that's cool. But, I think it misses a bit of a flow. The speed up parts are a bit.. well, I don't know. It doesn't seem to fit. But other then that, nice! Really nice, I like the cams. (:P)
Hehe, the one in South City.. hehe, it's very much the same..
Good to see I inspired a lot of people. This clip, but also a few more clips about MOE's upcoming Westhill race (well, it was today). Funny. :P
Yes indeed. Somehow the image quality after exporting a video from Premier is rather.. weird. Quite a hame.
Anyway, I recorded it with Fraps, editted it in Premiere, and I compressed it with VirtualDubMod.
BTW, I wanted to mention:
First I had the music, and with that came the idea to make some kind of heroic clip, so the video is made on the music, and not the other way around. Maybe that's why it works or so...
Nice with the basic and very filmy (?) music with the choir.
What I miss a little, is some kind of building up. There is a bit, with first one car doing a burnout and later five cars drifiting in one shot. The music suggests a bit more. But it's very nice the way it is already.
