i wasn't sure if i liked the wing on the back, so i took it off..but this is what i did..
rims, window tint, color matched the body kit(kinda, still needs work), shaved door handle, lowered, played around with a purge valve, headlight eyebrows, clear taillight
i think that's it..i don't remember anymore...lol.
that's the exact reason why i don't pre-order anything, i like to get real-world feedback before i spend money on something. That's why i didn't pre-order nKPro, and i'm glad i didn't...lol...because after all the hype over it prior to release...many, many people were very disappointed.
I really hope that doesn't happen with the G25, but i will definately wait and see before i start throwing my money around.
first...i am not "constructing" opinions..i am simply stating them.
second...if they are my "opinions",(which you, yourself, has stated them to be), how can i argument them to be more believable? It is my opinion...if you wants facts...look elsewhere.
I love this forum...it is incredibly predictable...makes me laugh everytime someone gets all worked up over words on a computer screen.
I also love how people use big words to sound like they know what they are talking about. Especially when the words they use do not fit into the context of the statement. And then, when all else fails, they resort to personal attacks. Which you can clearly see an example of in George's post.
That's it for me, this thread has already gotten way too far off topic...you can flame all you want...but there will be no more replies from me.
and again...great job turbo4door and good luck with your future autox'ing
yea, the UF1 and XFG make for some real close racing..you just have to pick smaller tracks, unless you really want to battle it out for 15mins with no breathing room...lol.
that's the same card i have. i would try it with your current drivers..and then only upgrade if you are having problems. I haven't seen any difference in any kind of performance after i upgraded to the newest drivers.
Evo falls on it's face at about 40mph....STi burns the motor up between 30k-40k miles... i'll agree with you on the S4, though...i wouldn't mind owning one of those :P
now the disclamer for all the flamers that are going to inevitably post here...
These are my opinions and my opinions only. They do not reflect the actual quality/performance of any car listed above. Please do not post anything resembling "dude, u have no clue what u r talkin bout..my friend's brother's sister-in-law has 1 and she pwns everything she races!" However, if you actually have something constructive to add, please do not hesistate to post it
awsome job...yea, autox is a lot of fun in real life. If they use the same course everytime, you should take a picture of it and then make it in LFS..would be interesting to see if it actually helps you in real life.
interesting...but i don't think i would want my racing seat on caster wheels..lol...that's fine on an office chair...but i can just imagine...going down the straight at South City, under the bridge...hard on the brakes into the first corner...and 'wheee' the chair rolls across the floor taking you out of reach of your wheel and pedals...lol.
i would take an old keyboard tray that slides under the desk, cut it so it's just wide enough to fit the shifter, then relocate the slide bars. Then just pull it out, mount the shifter, play, unmount the shifter, slide the tray underneath the desk.
Prolly take like 10 minutes to make and about 2 mins to put the shifter on and then take it off when you're done.
or, if you don't want to bother mounting and unmounting the shifter, then just use a c-bracket(or modify an L-bracket), mount the top of the bracket to the underside of the desk and mount the slide rails and platform to the bottom of the bracket. The shifter will sit a lot lower, but you would just be able to slide the whole assembly under the desk. You would also be able to mount the shifter a little more securely doing it that way.
i hope i made that clear enough..lol.
i'm very good at fabricating stuff....but i have one heck of a time trying to describe it to someone else...lol.
i went to my local best buy the other day, and they were pretty much clueless as to when they are getting the G25, if at all.
i'm sure it will be available at the local stores at one point...but i really don't think they are going to show up the day it's released. If you want it as soon as possible, then i think your best bet is to pre-order it from an online company.
Yamaha has also started painting their bikes red and white also...i don't think they've started a light blue and orange paint scheme, though
personally, i would make the logo smaller and put it further up the nose..so it's not hidden by the suspension, and then make the yamaha lettering a little smaller and put it underneath the logo.
lol..you'd triple the weight of the vehicle just by putting that motor in...but it would still be cool/deadly/psychotic to have like a 1200 pound car that only like 4 feet long with around 800hp
I would give anything to be on that awsome American team that holds numerous world records...damn...what's their name again....oh yea...Eagle Racing...lol
