I got an OOS error with W17, the second time it played fine though. I had no idea there was throttle help. Maybe it's some W17 thing since it's not yet official.
I'd extract a frsh copy of lfs over the top of your current install, perhaps some texture got corrupted. Can't think of anything else.
Under MISC options select yes for the 'load track when starting' option and see what happens.
Is this when the game first starts up or when joining a track? Have you modified or installed any textures?

You're using an old LFS version with throttle help. The newer versions don't have throttle help. Download the complete LFS 0.5 'W' from the main website.
IN GAME means people are conencted to the server and playing. Dunno what the deal is with text not showing on the server.

I get 1000fps with 40 AI with my 4ghz amd quad core nitrogen cooled 9000GTXO and 32x AA and AF.
That means your pedals are combined so you need to choose combined axis in lfs.
I'm liking the in car numberplate idea. It would be enough to have their display name there.

What do you mean you can't enable HVS? The option should be there and enabled. If it isn't there please provide a screenshot.
At 4pps which is what I think most servers are set too, 384B/s x 32 = 12kB/s download as a client if I'm working it out right. Upload all you need is 384B/s to send your car info. This number goes upto 576B/s for servers with updates 6pps.
OOS is out of sync I tihnk. Happens when theres a physics change that's incompatible.
Celtic in your screenshots you have empty and private servers filtered out so they don't show up when you refresh lol That's why the list is smaller compared to lfsworld. There's only about 50 servers that are populated even though there are hundreds of servers. The XFR server runs on port 27005 and it's not on your list because it's usually empty and it should be on the list of ports not blocked.
Sure the config is Kyoto National, Clear Day, no wind with FXO using LFS U30. Yup, all my replays with ky2 don't work so you must have missed it.
