I've had exactly the same thing happen here now you mention it. The password doesn't disappear in bfs until you try to connect in lfs and the field is left blank for some reason.

Speakers look a bit ricey/cheesy but the cdjs omg, amazing stuff. Have you got a pair yourself? Awesome piece of kit.

Why are you asking the drivers ot have a look? It's totally upto admins who gets penalised. If you're trying to gather support to overthrow the decision I think that's disrespectful to the admin team who have made their decision.

I recommend VurtualDubMod or Nandub. Together with the xvid codec you can make some decent movies.

Persohnally I use the profiler to map the d-pad to arrow keys so that I can press and hold down and the fuel etc will self increment. Binding them in lfs you have to press them repeatedly.

Can't really compare the V8 Supercars sicne I think they have a special system that you don't have to clutch in or release the throttle to change up from 2nd or so. If you listen closely you can hear the throttle is cut automatically even with the pedal fully down when changing gears.

Looks good.

One thing though is you might want to turn up the glossiness of the car paint material. As it is now the reflection of the light looks a bit dull.

@efast - yes I'm in both teams. Normally I'm XFR, OzSport is only my team for the AAL.

If youwatch the video I made you'l see I'm using max8 and nothing has changed since. Only my methods are a bit changed from the wiki wirtten tuorial but everything else is basically the same. I've also used max7 and max9 and there is no difference between the three when doing these steps.

I usually just see the best (worst) ones on youtube after it's over

Look for the "P1 P2 P3 Reset" buttons under render options. Hit P3 for some nice AA

OK so you're upto the glass step? In the video tutorial I just go ahead and modify ID 18 directly instead of making a new material and then dropping it onto material ID 18.

If you made a new material then you drag the little ball onto the material slot for ID number 18 in the main multi/sub object. If you don't know how to do this then just modify material ID 18 directly, it's much simpler that way.

Not sure what you mean by drop into material. What section of the turorial is this at and what are you trying to accomplish?

That's very strange. Where did you download them from? Where they actual max files or 3ds? I'm wondering if someone is trying to maybe pass off Ian and Morrows scenes as their own without including the tga files.

You need to add the pacth to the tga files you extracted from the zips of the scenes. These usually go into [maxfolder]\images\lfs. SO in max, just goto

Customize->Configure user paths..

and add the directory with the tga files. Then max will know where to look for them and won't nag you for them anymore

Great race for me, first win in this league

Qual went great, got pole of the GT2s and I knew I had a decent race set. Locovich came late and didn't qual so had to start from the back. He also didn't have much prac because throughout the race he just lept gettign faster and faster, beating pb after pb and even though started from the back was catching up very quick.

I had made a nice lead for myself and even after piutting it remained so I started relaxing a bit and hoping the race was goign to end soon, but lap after lap it still went on and loco was closing fast. I had to start moving again btu he was still too fast and by the finish line he was about a second away. Great finish to a great race.

So what exactly are you moaning about? I thought this was about the analog speedo not being visible enough.

If you want precision in your speed then use the digital speedo, that's what it's there for.
