What Jared is referring to is an error in the initial publication, where the rule stated that the sprint race would have a "05 minute time limit" - this has been corrected to the intended 25 minute time limit.
Hello racers, welcome to the TBOC Holiday Special! Please feel free to discuss the race here. Do take note of the following briefing notes.
Spirit of the Event: We usually ask for no contact, but we understand that some is to be expected in touring car style racing. What we still do not want to see is excessive contact to put a driver off-line so that you can gain a massive advantage, and you still should not try and "help" someone get further out of shape if you can help it. Hard racing induces some door banging and "chrome horns" - but keep it sensible and don't tread wild on the other racers. We want to see hard racing, but please keep it fair. Yes, this is the same bit that was in last year's iTCC Holiday Special, but we consider the TBO Challenge a similar touring-car style event.
Qualifying Procedure: The qualifying session will be held in one server with the current entry quantity. You may spectate/pit/head to garage any time at all during the session. You may run as many laps as you desire in the 20-minute session. We ask that you do not exit the pitlane if there is not enough time to start a timed lap.
Race Procedure: The Sprint Race will be gridded based on qualifying results. The Feature Race will be gridded based on Sprint Race Results, except for a reversal of positions 6-10 based on Sprint Race duration as explained below:
The last digit of the winner's race time will set the reversal. If the number is 1 to 5
inclusive, 5 will be added to that number to get the reverse. 6 through 9 will be taken as
that number. 0 will equal 10.
All races start by way of standard LFS standing start. No lag lap will be used.
No pit stops are required, but you may take one at your own discretion if felt necessary.
Race Meeting Points: Points will be awarded per regulations, and a Champion of the Meeting will be awarded.
Post-Race Procedure: Following each race, top 3 must report to start/finish for a podium photo. After the podium photo following Race 2, the top 3 in points will be called to start/finish for a photo.
Also, I've finally gotten Airio running again on the server. I was having issues launching it due to a package not installing correctly during a recent upgrade.
There should be enough admins to go by, since we don't do Safety Cars, and in TBOC the racing is *usually* clean and civil enough that there are no incident reviews in the middle of the races
Mr. Ellis had taken his headset off because his mother was asking him something...I'm still shocked to this day that he didn't hear my shouting even if the headset had been put on his desk!
I'm glad to see some familiar names pop up in the signups. Of course, hoping for more but understand it's the holidays and just before staying up all night to ring in 2018.
I'm generating a full list of past TBOC participants, and will send a PM blast to them all to see if it hits their email. If you know anyone who has never done the TBOC before, bring them in also!
New Dimension Racing are pleased to announce a special event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the founding of New Dimension Racing, the TBO Challenge (TBOC)!
The series was originally created by the IMA team, which former NDR Member (and still NDR Friend) Chris "Wilko868" Wilkinson and company ran in 2009, before Chris brought it as part of New Dimension Racing.
We have decided that a revival event for the TBOC would be a great end cap for 2017, and a perfect way to celebrate 10 years of New Dimension Racing. We will run the event on Saturday, December 30th, with qualifying starting at 18:00 UTC. The event will take place at Blackwood Historic, with the Sprint Race being 16 laps (52.8 km) in distance, and the Feature Race being 26 laps (85.8 km) in distance. Sign ups, rules, etc will be forthcoming in separate threads.
Please post a skin with your selected and approved car number on the hood and doors. The hood number should be readable from facing the front of the car, angled alignment is permitted. The TBOC logo and NDR logo are included for convenience if you wish to add them to your skin. You are only required to display your car number, all else is free.
Please post your skins here, with the exact name as they are on LFSWorld, but post 2048x2048 resolution here.

Virtual Safety Car IN USE in TBO Challenge!
With amazement, we realize that in a month's time, December 28th, 2017 marks 10 years since the founding of New Dimension Racing. It began as an idea for a Beginner's league, brought up by our good friend and founding member Jack "J@tko" Atkinson, and helped by Joseph "JO53PHS" Ellis and Jonathan "dekojester" Palmer. It became arguably one of the best recognised and respected league organisers in Live for Speed. We'll spare you the full history lesson for now.
We are discussing an event to celebrate this occasion, to be held in our original simulator, Live for Speed. Details are still being ironed out, but expect an announcement in the coming days.
For now, feel free to share your memories of NDR, some of your top NDR moments (best races, admin moments, broadcast moments, etc) in this thread.

I have used the LFS Dedicated Server exe with linux and wine without issue for several years. In my experience, it's the single best dedicated server software in the titles I've tried. It's all configured in text files, no need for a GUI to make the server sing.
DriftGoat: You will be best off redownloading the installer and extracting it again to restore the original content. Download it from https://www.lfs.net/downloads if you need it.
Tracker on website is updated finally, I'm sorry I didn't get to it the last couple rounds....the work I had to do for my station's coverage of the US election caused my brain to melt....I had to let it come back until Thanksgiving weekend here
