Tracker on website is updated finally, I'm sorry I didn't get to it the last couple rounds....the work I had to do for my station's coverage of the US election caused my brain to melt....I had to let it come back until Thanksgiving weekend here

Hello racers, welcome to the iTCC Holiday Special! Please feel free to discuss the race here. Do take note of the following briefing notes.
Spirit of the Event: We usually ask for no contact, but we understand that some is to be expected in touring car style racing. What we still do not want to see is excessive contact to put a driver off-line so that you can gain a massive advantage, and you still should not try and "help" someone get further out of shape if you can help it. Hard racing induces some door banging and "chrome horns" - but keep it sensible and don't tread wild on the other racers. We want to see hard racing, but please keep it fair.
Race Meeting Points: Points will be awarded per regulations, and a Champion of the Meeting will be awarded.
Ballast: No driver will have ballast for Race 1. Ballast for Race 2 will be awarded based on Race 1 result. Ballast for Race 3 will be awarded based on the points tabulation after Races 1 and 2.
Post-Race Procedure: Following each race, top 3 must report to start/finish for a podium photo. After the podium photo following Race 3, the top 3 in points will be called to start/finish for a photo.
Since we have less than 39 entries, the Reserve Shootout is not necessary. It will still run as scheduled, but will not be anything other than an officially scored free practice.
This should make the "real" part of the event fit within a two hour window.

New Dimension Racing are pleased to announce a revival event for one of our most popular properties, the iCON Touring Car Championship (iTCC)!
Created by the iCON Racing Team in late 2008, with a debut season in winter 2009, the restricted-FXR championship strove to emulate the racing of the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) and World Touring Car Championship (WTCC). Known through the racing world as competitive and exciting racing, both series remain immensely popular. iTCC selected the FXR and gave it 32% intake restriction, and a test race was held in December 2008, which proved the concept with fantastic racing, and set the series in motion.
We have decided that a revival event for the iTCC would be a great end cap for 2016. We will run the event on Sunday, December 11th, with a reserve shootout (if necessary) starting at 17:00 UTC, and qualifying starting at 18:00 UTC. The event will take place at Westhill National, with the three races being 14 laps each ( with up to two laps added in the event of a safety car deployment. Sign ups, rules, etc will be forthcoming in separate threads.
In the past, when NDR used an open config, we experienced very few significant issues. Positions list in-game only updates at the splits, which is no big deal. I never recall any issues with the tracker we used and open configs, since it simply relied on laps and sectors, nothing else. And as far as I recall, yellow/blue flags kept working alright.
