Here is an explination why people are probably not using race servers.
The reason being because people see a fullish sort of server so decide to go and play there and see what its all about. They then see people in faster cars for example FXR, and decide to drive for ages until they get enough money to get a FXR in there UF1. As many people have seen me on These city life servers, and many people have seen me on racing servers aswell. I totally agree with you and i think 70+ people aswell as people waiting to join the host needs to be looked at. All this hard work of the input into LFS can't be wasted...
Im thinking of hosting a webserver ive set all the ports up and firewall but on a website it gave me a link to a website designer sort of program. Although i cant seem to download it for some reason so i was wondering does anyone know any programs which is great to use to host it?
Nono, thats just a random figure. Something which would work out at the same price, so this would able you to have High res quality skins instead of High res few min skins which was a waste of time. Its confusing but if you think about it you get there. Sorry for lack of explination
Matt
Edit: So you can only download High res Skins would be a much simpilar way

Reason : Adding suggestion
I was just looking at the Test Patch W25 thread and it was saying about the improved £1 For 1000 Downloads High Res Skins. Well it got me thinking because there are many skins on LFS which arnt really worth downloading, For instance a 5 Min job with a couple of logos and a solid colour background. So i thought of how about Uploading your high res skin for like 25p and then keeping the downloading £1 for 1000 skins? I would of thought that this would help the bandwith of memory it takes for the high-res skins. And not wasting are HDD aswell as are downloading Allowence and 1000 Skins for £1?
On my wheel which i use it has a setting which allows me to strengthen it to pull back alot quicker (harder) to the middle. I can get to this by Control Panel/Game Controllers/then just select everything there for the controller.
BUT: If people are having problems with full strength to pull it back i would consider getting the G25 Or even a Logitech Forumla. Ive never in the time ive had LFS heard of that.

Reason : Post went wrong for some reason?
Ive recently just bought a laptop which i was mainly was just going to use on the internet down stairs and other places. I bought this laptop off a person on ebay which it was brandnew but had very little scratches on top which isnt visable. The main reason of creating this thread is because ive looked in my system spec (In all programs). But it doesnt show the model of the ram which is needed.
System Spec :
256MB DDR-RAM Would this be DDR400?
14.1" TFT Screen
40GB HDD
1.2GHZ Processor
As you can tell from the text its mainly for the internet BUT i still find it slightly slow so i would of wanted to upgrade it to 1GB (But dont know Maxium allowance).
To get to the point Does any one know some kind of software which would tell me my Ram Model aswell as my Ram Allowance for my motherboard?
Ive had recent message with LFS Lapper Saying when i try to load it, it just says 'The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on ok to terminate to application.'. After i have done that it just closes it down and noting else happens.

Ive havent set this up Properly yet because i was just testing if it worked.
Im going to host a server on DEMO, this would before kids below the age of 11 or 11, with a few exeptions. Im thinking of doing this because this would make LFS Demo a Cleaner enviroment. This would be on a BL GP Track with the car XFG. This server will be host on various times of the day. This will give kids a bit of a race where they can practice and race with there round about age group, which would stop them crashing into other more expericanced drivers and being banned.
What do you think?
Server has been hosted now in a few mins, (Young Kids Ages 3-11)
