Sorry, thought you meant lap times and whatnot by telemetry

Glad you got it working though

Are you sure it's OutSim, and not OutGauge? Or maybe OutGauge was released after S1, not sure...OutSim doesn't carry telemetry data though, it has the data for motion sims.

If you go into the big room near where you collect the package, you can climb onto the rafters and jump off the building. It takes a few goes to get it right, but once you're off you can run alongside the building without being shot at

Realtek does that for me listening to music too, it seems to split the sound to where it should go in surround. So my fronts get everything, but the rears and sub get what they should were it surround. It's kind of weird, but it works. Works a treat in LFS too

Where's the "nick the saw and push him in anyway" option?

I think I'd leave him continue. But stay nearby to stop him drowning when he does fall. What's the worst that could happen?

As the cage falls, keep a pull on the rope, thus pulling her onto the ledge. V1.1 should contain over 9000 pulleys so even the lardiest of heroes can keep a strong pull on even the lardiest of girls

Quote from Stefani24 :14000 km²

HOLY FU(K! How should this possibly be possible.

That's a lot alright...Anybody remember Just Cause on PS2? That had a ~1,000km² map size, and that took literally hours to get from one side to the other by road. From what I can find on t'interwebs (strangely enough, no released figures from R*), GTA IV is ~20km². 14,000km² is going to be massive

Actually, just yesterday I was playing RBR, and clipped a bridge about 100 yards from the start. Ended up rolling about another 100 yards down the road, but my car was stuck in 5th, with the handbrake locked and no brake pressure. So I finished the stage like that, took a good 10 mins. Then it landed me at the start of the next stage, without stopping for service. I raged

I must try Flatout sometime if I can find a friend who has it. It looks very good indeed

Quote from S14 DRIFT :Wait.. you LOST disk capacity when you cleaned your HD?

Nope, a certain % of disk drives are MIA so to speak. It's more noticeable with large drives, where a good chunk can be missing. Try looking at your own 160GB, I bet that Windows doesn't show exactly 160GB available My 500GB is the same at 465GB btw...

Of course I use it. Not necessarily to cause offense based on race (which apparently is different to racism now...), but label a minority. Every minority has their label, but not meant in a bad way. I have yet to see a genuine ricer take offense to the term, plus it gives Honda massive publicity

TBH, I don't see how you can fill up a 500GB drive with everything you need. My 500GB contains everything I've ever downloaded (incl. Music, Games, Movies, etc.), all my music collections, an entire backup of my last Vista install that went tits up, every program, video and skin I've created. And it still has 185GB free Where are the days when I struggled to fill the 12GB drive on our first PC  (And that was a massive HDD back then)

If you have programs you don't use very often, uninstall them, but keep user files and the installation. That way you can re-install them at any time and still keep everything

If you want it to be portable, what about an e-SATA drive? I've never actually seen one, but I have the ports on my PC to plug one in. I presume it would have the same speed as internal SATA

I've learned to put up with the wheel going past 270/540 in SS cars. I mean, how often do you ever go full lock in the middle of a race?

Best e-mail the devs here, with the player's username and the name of the skin. I'd say that's the best place to try, I don't think there's a specific "skin report" section

Quote from dadge :but seriously, maybe changing os to XP might help just because xp is not a rescourse hog like vista is.

Agreed, I've switched my Vista laptop to dual-boot Ubuntu and Windows 7, as they use far less resources. Even with 2GB of RAM, some of that is used for video RAM, and a huge chunk is used by Vista just to look pretty, leaving LFS with very little. By installing a cleaner OS, you can leave LFS with a bit more RAM, which should help a bit

Laptop GPUs aren't great anyway, unless they're dedicated, like Jakg said. That's by far the main problem

Quote from MAGGOT :Someone without a license waltze's in, clicks on a thread, reads the name of an S2 user, enters it with a random password into his copy of LFS and suddenly he has all the tracks and cars without paying. You're fine with that?

No, that would be unuseable software. For what I mentioned to work, you need to unlock LFS with YOUR username and password, then you can change username and/or password to anything you like. As long as you don't press lock again, it'll stay in "offline S2" mode

But I have paid. In essence, it's as if I'm letting someone else play LFS on my PC. And, the LFS EULA says you can unlock LFS on other PCs to play in LAN

As for the topic at hand (old as it may be :shrug, I have LFS unlocked on my brother's PC, and then changed the username and password (without pressing lock). He can play S2 in single player or in LAN, but it won't let him go online. I think it's a neat feature (even though it's probably accidental...), and I see no harm in it
