The Motion Motorsports 2012 Inaugural TBO Series will be held on a private dedicated server. Server name is Motion Motorsports Event. Rules

Driver’s Name
Driver name's will have to be changed to have your real name and your number like this for all sessions: 0 J.Hockett


Yellow Flag Information
There will not be any full course yellow flags. Follow on-screen flags. Failure to do so will result in in-race penalties.


In Game Chat
Chatting will be disallowed during all sessions unless prompted to do so. Permission to speak must be asked for and granted during all sessions at all times during on-track action when the chat is announced to be closed. This rule will be enforced strictly.


Pitting Instructions
On entry to pit road there will be a “Commitment Cone” in which in order to pit you must cross entirely to the pit road side of. If you strike the commitment cone you will be given a pass through penalty under green, and you will be required to start at the tail end of the line if you strike it under yellow. The same applies to the merge line cone on exit.


Skin Requirments
All participants must have a visible number on each side of their car. Skins may not contain graphic content (nudity, gore, ect.) Failure to have a proper skin will result in a drive through penalty in each session that the improper skin is used.


Failure to Comply
Failure to follow these rules will result in in-race penalties which will be determined by the race staff. Failure to serve a penalty within 3 laps of it being issued will result in a worsened penalty, and failure to serve a 2nd penalty will result in disqualification. Should the race finish and there is an existing penalty, the driver with the penalty will be credited with finishing the last car on the lap in which he finished on (or, if ignoring the penalty is judged to give a greater benefit than this, they may be given a harsher penalty)


Misc.
All race finishes will be reviewed fully and official results will be posted the by Tuesday following each round.

Still actively looking for new drivers, would like to signup for the GT2 Series from New Dimension Racing, need a second driver to compete tho.

That was it's original intended use, but is not strictly for non for profits. If that were the case, there would be other paperwork required before they would likely issue the domain. I have used a .org for gaming before. Nothing wrong with using .org.

I like .org more than .com or net personally, just because it gives a more professional vibe when i hear .org. Plus there are so many TLDs now, the choices are almost unlimited.

If it is a basic credit card, you should not have any problems, except that most merchants are using paypal to accept payments, so finding someone with a different processing company/service might be the problem.

Plus Paypal has a great protection program, it would be worth trying to convince her to use it instead of some other never heard of random processing company that may cause more problems than good.

I am also personally lacking the free time to hunt down and ensure that every member is practicing. That being said we have an MSN group that we use to communicate and for the most part our main drivers know when things are.

I 100% agree with the way you are handling this. If this were a real racing team and someone dropped off the face of the earth, they would for sure get the boot. This is essentially the same situation, you are trying to keep a professional approach to your team and there is nothing wrong with that. This is standard procedure, even in gaming communities. If you go inactive from your CoD or BF Clan, or your WoW/MMO Guild, or your Race Team (in this case), you will be subject to being kicked for inactivity. See with online gaming, the number of potential team/clan/guild members is almost endless, because the exposure to potential members is much greater than say a real life racing team. There are tens of thousands of LFS accounts from Demo to S2. That's a lot of potential drivers that you probably have never seen drive, nor ever spoken to them so keeping the options open by imposing an inactivity rules is a great practice to have, it shows great leadership, great management, and a professional approach to your team.


In conclusion for those who will skip the entire paragraph, +1 to bmxtwins. Keep up the good work and don't let the naysayers get you down.
