Tom and I are fine and on good terms, talked with him today. Like I said before, Tom is just super busy with real life so I decided that it would be better use of my time to run a team that was 100% mine, didn't want to worry about offending or upsetting anyone else by making a decision without the other person's consent.

I agree with you. Small Progress such as tracks/cars is better than no progress at all.

It is not based off of NFS Shift, it's being developed by people that helped develop NFS Shift.

The 2nd Owner has become busy with real life and since this was originally his team, I have decided to depart from UGC and start my very own Team and Community. I will be the sole owner of this new team.

I will make my announcement when everything is finalized with the new team.

UGC had a great 4 months but the time has come again for UGC to close it's doors.

Yes, it is a good deal to be able to play the game online for 10 years without any additional costs, but after even 5 years, the content gets pretty dull.

It has been how many years since the Rockingham announcement was made? We haven't even got a preview such as a drive around video or anything from the devs. Except that we have it, we know you want it, we are working on other things right now. I mean seriously, why can we not have the new track while we wait for the tyre physics done. Save the VWS for when the rest is complete, but in the mean time, give us something new so we don't sit here and flame each other to death on the forums waiting.

"content" hasnt been updated majorly since S2 came out, its been small fixes here, small update here. Not to mention for around the same price, you could go get Project C.A.R.S which has just as good physics, way better graphics, and will have tons of cars upon release. C.A.R.S does require a hefty PC, but what modern game doesn't?

LFS is a good game/sim, but for the price, people expect alot more.

Exactly my thoughts. S2 = ~$40 USD. For a game that is 10 years old, this is a very high price.

Don't forget, on UGC Cruise, Track changes are every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Also, we are a multilingual server that doesnt restrict chat to english only, and now we have a private message system too, so it's even better than before.

UGC Cruise Stats have been reset, this should make things fair for everyone. All of our job rewards have been increased so earning your favorite cars shouldn't take too long.

In light of our recent Host problems, UGC has decide to take a different direction with our community. For the last 3 months we have focused on expanding and trying to grow our community. Our new direction is focused on stability and improvement.

Our main focus is going to be LFS. We still play other games, but our community and our servers will be strictly for LFS.

We hope this improves our relationship with the rest of the LFS Community.

Our sponsorship servers will be back online on 3/7/2012.

Due to a clerical error with our host, we are no longer using 1&1 Internet to host our servers. Because of this, we have had to downsize temporarily until we resolve our hosting issue. Our Cruise Stats are being restored, right now they are reset.
