I don't understand, but I apologise either way. Edit: Have been informed by Fuse that it's because of my avatar. Can't believe I missed that. Too much masturbation.
You're absolutely right, they support your back, prevent injury or stop yourself from making an injury/problem worse like yourself. They are good for rehabilitation or people who are too weak due to injury to use the correct technique with free weights, as free-weight exercises with a poor technique can be dangerous. If your lower stomach feels like it is going to rip apart then be cautious, however they will often feel tight where they've been stitched and may actually be stronger than they were before. You could try doing bodyweight core exercises like planks and side planks to strengthen it and improve core stability before going on to try heavy squats again. Sorry for OT!
I do use both, but leg press for calf raises only. If you are doing squats right on the Smith Machine or squat rack, you wouldn't be able to do leg press after. It's the same exercise but leg press supports your back. It's meant for people who are weaker and can't control their core.
Sorry for butting in to this interesting conversation (not sarcasm), but I'd like to say that as an iRacing subscriber, even after forcing myself as much as I can and allowing others to force me to believe that iRacing is most realistic, LFS still does feel more natural to me when driving it and I do actually enjoy driving on LFS more despite it being less pleasing on the eyes and ears. I use iRacing purely because it now has the community that I wish LFS had and the variety of races that I wish I could take part in, in LFS.
However, I'd like to know your views on Netkar Pro and whereabouts you think that is in comparison, if you have tried it of course. Whenever I drive NkPro the driving feeling always extremely impresses me. It's just lacking in entertainment to be honest, once you grow weary of hot lapping with a cheesy grin on your face that is.
Oh, my bad. I just took a quick look at the thumbnail and typed the first thing that came into my head. :dunce: Hence why it wasn't a very funny or clever caption.
My girlfriend and her mum run a catering company part-time and make a lot of cakes for weddings and birthdays, may have to drop a hint for my birthday in a few days time.. :birthday:
I disagree by the way. You must be doing something wrong if the graphics look bad and saying combat is bad right before saying Witcher 2 is better in almost every aspect is hilarious!

I now feel obliged to say it was me, so that it does not look like I was trying to deflect attention away from me. Oh shit I'm drawing attention to myself by posting this. It wasn't me! Or maybe it was? Whichever one makes it seem less like it was me. It really wasn't me by the way! :scared: Crap now I appear nervous and suspicious..
