I think it's also possible to use the Gimp right out of the box for DDS files.

Just google it and you'll know what I'm talking about.

While you suggested Adobe Premiere, I am not sure if it's free. If not, where can I get a similar program. Same goes with Fraps. I have 1.9D but I'd like to record sound too.

IMO it has to because most are tired of other driving games.

Not talking about GPL or NR2003 or RFactor, but it's quite well known nowadays. A well known game usually attracts a lot of people.

BTW, I've played LFS since I was 10.
I'm 12 nowadays, and I can do 1:34s-1:36s? WTF?

But to do it for ALL the cars would be boring. So why not do them for one car class and then all cars from that class are unlocked.

IMO the AI eat up a %$&^load of fps whereas RF MP Test's AI didn't take up as much. Even with 19 other cars RF MPT had very little effect (2-3 fps). However 11 AIs+me, and they eat up 7-12 fps!

I think ISI got something right when the AI eat up so little of your FPS.

You may know me as [S2A] Emi No.2 on LFS. I've come here to ask you guys a small favor, since I'm gussing Scawen's too busy with developing LFS S2, I guess.

I perfer you make the files .wav format in a duration of 3-5 seconds, with the car revving at mid to high RPM.

Why!? You ask?
I plan on making a soundpack for GR.

So send in your skids, crash sounds, and the like from LFS.

I just hope it's possible.

You can also do the bouncing effect by setting the car VERY low, and stiffness at it's lowest.
