Yay! Finally got electricity back!
Last Sunday (December 9th), Oklahoma experienced the biggest power outage in state history. 618,000 customers statewide lost electricity, and over 3,000 utility workers from several different states came to help out in the power restoration process. Now, I just got electricity back at my house. I have been staying in a hotel room since last Tuesday and will be staying for one last night before returning home. Also, the president declared a state of emergency for Oklahoma, and FEMA may not be providing relief funds to replace things such as spoiled food, or relocation costs. So this may cost me and my family around $600, $370 for hotel room rent, and ~$200 for 2 refrigerators full of spoiled food.

The hell? If this is out future, we are definately screwed. The governments of the world will be overrun by 12 year old "1337" speakers who are extreme Halo fanboys and have an average IQ of 15.
Notice that most of the glass ended up INSIDE the oven. Definately wasnt something explosive inside it.

I'm staying in a hotel room right now due to the fact there's STILL no electricity at my house from last week's ice storm. They don't give us glasses, but plastic or styrofoam cups.

Well, looks like I will actually be stepping up to the new one for free! (excluding shipping). Beats the hell out of spending ~$70 to keep this one cool.
Ok, because I may use that as a cheaper option of fixing the heat problem on my current one (It IDLES at 70C with the fan at 100%) instead of spending ~$80 for the heatsink and a seperate fan to put on it. As far as I know there are only 2 heatsinks avalible on Newegg that will fit an 8800 GTS, GTX, or Ultra, and they both go for around ~$60 each.
Not quite sure if this has been reported, but I got curious and turned the racing line on during an AI race. The line seems to kind of "paint" the bottom of the FBM green.
The pit speed limit in MPH is 48 MPH.

Also, in the case of the digital speedo being removed, I haven't been able to test it, as I haven't been able to play LFS since Monday. Biggest power outage in state history, and the power at my place is estimated to be restored tomorrow. Been in a hotel room since Tuesday.

EVGA Step-up program?
Well, I want to try the EVGA step-up program and upgrade from my current G80 8800GTS to the new G92 GTS. Has anyone else had experience with EVGA's step up program? What I already know is that they do not support cross-shipping. How much would it cost to step up from a now $364 card to the new one which costs $360?

Also, replacing the XRT in demo with the FBM is a good move imo, it will help get rid of the ricer dorifto craze in LFS and attract more mature customers to the sim. (I like to drift though, but a lot of demo drifters happen to be less than intelligent.)

Nah, try balancing the BF1 with the UF1
Dude, down it to 8x. From my experience, 16x actually makes it worse, and gives a MASSIVE fps hit.

How will lighting be taken care of? Will lights be mounted on the cars somehow? Or will the track be lit up with lightposts?
