I have sadly not seen that one in sweden, but the Lagunitas I have tried have been awesome.

They left several years ago, it's just that there was a slow exit. Anyway, the new car design makes it no huge problem for privateers to run a Ford team.

About the kitchen brewery. Sneaky Brewery (making sneaky beers that are way stronger than they taste). Brewing is done in a friends kitchen with a 36l pot on the stove. Fermenting in a fridge with an external precision thermostat.

Since the start at 2011-03-18 we have brewed 53 different beers at a total of over 1 m^3. Price per beer 12,94skr (aprox 1,4 eur) not counting labour (aprox 1000 hours). Average 7.8% alc. Only two beers have been thrown in the sink one due to infection and one due to bad recipe.

Favourite style differ depending on occasion: IPA, DIPA, Barley wine or Imperial Stout.

Beers I am particularily fond of are:
* Goose Island - Bourbon County Stout (easily 5/5 points)
* Anderson Valley - Hop Ottin (IPA with DIPA characteristics)
* Oscar Blues - Ten fidy (sweet soft imperial stout)
* SKA Brewing - Modus Hoperandi (IPA)
* Hantverksbryggeriet - Baronen (Barley Wine)
* Thornbridge - Jaipur IPA

Favourite brewery is my own kitchen brewey (brewing all grain biab, mostly strong >8% styles)

Most notable for the melbourne v8sc races is that Jack Perkins is a very good expert commentator.

Quote from Keling :Sorry if it's a stupid question, but why 2 red dot sights?

One is for gangsta style shootings...

I assume the other is for the grenade launcher.

It is fun, the physics is not horrible. Adrenaline is high.

The physics did however almost bend my steering, I was playing some flatout, then went driving in the snow, came a tad to quick into a roundabout, resulting in understeer so I did the sensible thing (in flatout) steered more and applied throttle. Took half a second to understand that that was not the correct reflex.

:scared:Why does my car not sound litke that:scared::scared::scared: I seriously need a new exhaust for the sti.

I have only seen the Subaru variant in RL and it is a sweet looking car, from photos I think the Toyote has slightly better looking interior. I am not worried about the horsepower, it is more than enough for any legal street application, and for track and illegal street there is never any limit on the hp you like to have (so any hp will be arbitrary). For countries where roof is a must for 9 months a year this is the Miata killer.

Quote from thisnameistaken :Oh I'm not playing any game that has quick time events, **** that. I started the first part of the single-player in BF3 and stopped when it immediately threw up a QTE. No thank you.

What a stupid thing to do. ****ing pointless.

QTE is very nice for the game producer, they can let some 3d artists create a game without any need for coders. And there was a technical reason for QTE thirty ****ing years ago. This is how I feel when I play the story missions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00xIvTOLrYA

And the problem is not that it sucks, the problem is that the rest of the game is awesome so I can´t just take the loss and uninstall the game.

Quote from Shotglass :the game has a really strange balance with animals and humans usually any animal you come across is at least 10 times more dangerous than the humans in the game

Should be that way, they are the likes of House robots of Robot wars.

Quote from thisnameistaken :I think everybody who played Far Cry was confused about why they ruined it half-way through. I think they ran out of money so they let the work experience kids design the rest of the game.

I think they got heavily into old school Carmac games in the offcie and remade the ending to be a homage to Doom I & II.

I can not let go of my hate for the horrible story missions. The "think fast" minigames just makes me want to uninstall the game and spend my time terrorising the game designer instead. (a key flashes on the screen, press it within a second or two or you fail and die)

Second hate in the game is random check points, now I am stuck at a checkpoint just before a long cut scene and a story mission I do not manage to win. What I would like to do is play some casual sadbox but I can´t, only option is to try and locate the game designer so I can send a box of poo to his cubical.

It's nice, its just as Farcry2 but better. Except the storymissions are quite boring. Story is better made though, still hate those pointless missions.

And its great that I have to start uplay even when its a steam game, and I have to start steam since I can not add it to the uplay portal. Great work ubisoft. (F.U!)

Quote from GreyBull [CHA] :What's wrong with you, Aussies/Kiwis... First Stoner retiring at 27, now SVG at 23

If it sucks, better start your next career ASAP. (even more true if you can survive on the funds on your last career, which is true for Stoner, might not be true for SVG)

Good for him, I think its good when ppl realize they need a career change early instead of getting stuck in a dead end. Maybe or maybe not Stoner made a good example.

Everything about this race was awsome.
* Ferrari throwing the controversial strategy card.
* Track, this one is great.
* Racing, with many overtaking opportunitys for the fast and brave.
* End result.

About Massa being a unlucky guy, I think he much rather race the supporting Red car than being first or equal driver in a slower car.

Quote from CSF :Ugh, you just reminded me of the irritating Nick Heidfeld fans that sprung up when he was booted out of Formula One at the end of 2009. Suddenly some were claiming he was a superstar that was somehow unlucky not to have won multiple championships. The same people were thinking he was in with a shot of a Ferrari drive for next season.

True, I LOL when his fans call him "Quick Nick", on the other hand I am surprised he is not employed by some of the backmarker teams since they need a driver that always gets to the checkered flag and does quite consistent lap times.

Quote from Racer X NZ :Isn't it wonderful seeing these F1 etc 'stars' being incapable of racing.

Give me a demo server anyday.

They can't even reach turn one without destroying cars.

I'm thinking that on this type of track you need to redflag any start with stalled cars, and redflag with strobes so everyone can see there is a stopped car. On open tracks, it is easier to avoid stalled cars but maybe it is probably still the lowest hanging fruit with regard to safety.

I studied the bible a lot in my youth but soon discovered that I did not believe in God, Jesus is still a good prophet of life philosophy. Love, peace and understanding. Which is so far from the "Hate, Fear & Control" that has taken hold of most state religions even when they call then self Christians.

Bought three records, ripped and are listening now. Allways makes you feel leet when the record you are ripping is not in cddb/freedb :-) Probably since their core audience buys it online or at spotify (makes me feel old wanting to have the aluminium coated plastic disc)

1. Blue for Two - Tune the piano, hand me a razor
2. Slagsmålsklubben - The Garage
3. Thåström - Beväpna dig med vingar

Initial comments:
1. 10 years later, my favourite band releases a new record. It is strange in a good way.
2. Nice back to basics but ruffer bitpop.
3. The legends has transformed into blues? Some really nice metal on metal percussion in the background.

Quote from thisnameistaken :An estate would be a pain for me because I have to park on the street and I live in the centre of York, and all the other people with permits for the same street as me park like arseholes so I'm always having to squeeze into gaps that are unnecessarily small.

Get a french car they are built to park in spots smaller than the car (*bump* *bump*), most other arguments talk against a french car though.

A very common uncomplicated car is usually cheap to repair (cheap spare parts and the village blacksmith can fix most problems even if he is not skilled on that particular model, and he will probably charge half of what the brand garage do) in UK this would argue for a vauxhall I guess.

An old toyota is a safe bet if you like to patch up some rust on the fenders. But it is mostly cosmetic. The mechanics are usually bullet proof.
