Just a different interface to run lfs competitions on. It's quite much an iRaping ripoff. I also don't think there is any other reason to use a different exe than that they forgot all the existing lfs users and thus there is only one version that is a all-in-one package.
I'd rather multiclass than single class. This is because some wankers will inevitably vote for tbo only which is awful. Also, I do hate having to drive xfg for 9 months 'before it's safe to hand me anything faster.' I mean FFS. These ranking systems come and go. CTRA died. Race center died. Can you please not be a jerkwatt and think you are entitled to tell me what I can or can't drive. It's fakin irritating.
Track change - don't mind if it does, don't mind if it doesn't change. Don't really care how often. I've had good races on as3 despite some people saying how boring it is after a million laps on CD / AMG. I mean who's fault is that exactly anyway, no one forced you to go there in the first place! That isn't a proper argument.
Events - Sure, properly done weekday events would be nice. Weekends are already full of masters of failurance and other nonsense so no one would take part..
Teamspeak - already have. Also I don't see why people would join to chat while they are racing, at least I wouldn't. I might tell people off while raging
Anyway, a slight warning, in the new test patch using open configs lfs does not send any node lap packets. Therefore anything relying on nodes might not fully work.
I'm sorry but I think you can consider a multi-paradigm, object oriented script language to be a programming language. At least it looks like one and can be used like one.
Why would you want us to take anything back before taking a minute thinking about what makes us think what we think?
If you want to ask something
- Tell what it is you want. Really. No one is going to help otherwise. Currently you've said nought. And after that, what yeager said.
- It doesn't matter if you're not a technical person. Just tell what you want to see and to be done. However, at least I'm not psychic so yes, you do need to "write details in public" and in a properly structured way.
- If you are going to pay for a job, you most certainly need to explain it in detail and state what you are willing to pay for it.
- You can't defend crap spelling by saying you're in a hurry. How can you expect anyone to put any effort into something you haven't put any effort into. No one is going to tell you off for misspelling a few words here and there, just put some effort into it!
- HAVE SOME PATIENCE! You can't expect someone to just jump into a "big project" (and not knowing what it is you even want). Also some people do have a life and they don't spend their entire day scouting for requests in a forum section that isn't even meant for requests anyway.
Path nodes are in the NLP packet. Coordinates are in the MCI packet. Bind receiving either of them to a function that will compare the node or coordinates to a set location.
I'm not sure what the best way to figure out if you are stationary or not. Perhaps if the coordinates between two updates do not change you can be considered stopped.
What exactly do you need the coordinates if you want to make something appear when typing something?
Look mate, here's a quick, very rough checklist you need to do. If you don't know how to do these things you need to get someone who does.
1) create a insim connection
2) bind the event of receiving a IS_MSO packet to a function that checks what has just been typed in chat.
3) Make a function that does whatever it is you want it to do.
4) ???
5) Profit!
Firstly patience. It's not even been 24 hours yet.
Secondly I call bullshit on that story. You can't be older than 10. Before you argue, it shows, so don't bother arguing. Even if you were what you say you are, which you are clearly not, I would find it extremely unlikely for a real life drift team owner not being able to ****ing spell.
Oh yeah, if you are serious, and are willing to pay minimum 50€ hour, shoot an email this direction. I'm currently doing my master thesis about Cruise and race control insims at the University of Dustin.
Not to judge or anything, there are a lot of techniques and obviously they're all subjective when it comes to being best, but still I wouldn't advice anyone to look at the visual notes any more than a quick glance - It might even be best not to consciously look at them, just leave them in the peripheral zone. You shouldn't really be looking anywhere else than the road. Then again, if you can look at different directions at the same time with some serious cross-eyedness, what am I to know better
The only thing rbr (dunno about any mods or anything, it's been a while since I've actually played it) is that the pacenotes are a bit crude... You've only got three types of corners (flat, fast, k), in real life you would have plus and minus degrees attached to them as well. Then you would have 6 (which, incidentally is also the case in the number system some Scottish people use.)
Incidentally btw, is there some RBR installation for dummies checklist somewhere? I've installed patch 1.02 but still no FFB It used to work on XP, now on win7 not anymore.
