You sure that was a bot?

Right. Because at the moment I've got nothing better to do I'll share the epic theory I found:
According to some statistics

- From the year 2000 onwards all ESC winners have shared a longitude or a latitude with the host country.
- From 2000 onwards the winner has never won previously or the victory occurred more than a decade earlier.
- From 2003 onwards the winning country has had it's surface area larger than the median of the set.
- From 2004 onwards the winning country has shared a border with at least three other countries.
- From 2004 onwards the flag of the winning country has had blue in it
- ... from 2005 it has had white in it
- ... from 2007 it has had red in it.
- From 2005 the winner has performed their act during the last third of the final.
- From 2005 the lyrics have had a religious reference in them (IE Rybak's curse or Elena's crusifiction)
- From 2005 the winning song and 2006 onwards the winning artist have been selected at least partly by a televote in their respected national final.
- From 2006 the winner has came though a semifinal.
- From 2006 the winning song has had at least one L-letter in it's name.

IF we discard principles that appeared later than 2004 the winner this year would be France, Romania or The Czech Republic. Note that if during the following years any smaller or bigger country than Czech joins or leaves the contest it stops being the 21st largest of the 42. Also if we include the principles from 2004 onwards Romania's flag does not have white in it and France doesn't have to go through a semifinal.

If all three of the conditions above happened to be true and neither France Romania nor Czech republic could win the winner would be Great Britain as it's transmarine areas Gibraltar and Akrotiri and Dhekelia would also be included when looking at border sharing neighbouring countries.

Quote from Ripley :LFS bug or Opera bug ??

LFS. As I said repeatedly, Opera handles the link (nearly) perfectly but LFS won't open correctly.
Quote :
Did you post your issue in the LFS bug sub-forum ?

The what? Never thought of that

Quote from Bean0 :This makes me think it is working but then failing at the command line switch to join the server.

No that's not the case. Actually, if I try to launch LFS via Opera, LFS will connect to a server, I will be online, and if I open LFS itself I get a "another instance already running message."

Again (, and I wish people would actually pay attention for once) the problem is in LFS starting but sort of running in the background with no visible evidence of it on screen. The process is there eating memory and I'm online and all but there is no LFS window anywhere. It's solely a Opera related problem as I tested with firefox.

Quote :
The open with for me in Firefox is 'Use "<path to lfs>\LFS.exe" %1'
(" " are included, ' ' are not)

Tried already.

Today a few morons on the radio called the Icelandic embassy and asked why they keep taunting the whole of Europe. According to them "there surely is a way to stop a volcano" and suggested them to send some firemen in...

Actually you can set Opera up in 2 ways:

1) Automatically use a certain application for a protocol (=the same way as firefox). However if I set the protocol 'lfs' to be opened with 'LFS.exe' I get an "invalid command line" error.

2) If no application is set up for the protocol in question I get a popup asking weather I want to open LFS because Opera can't handle the link (see attached). This is probably because lfs links are associated with LFS.exe normally (the feature that came with the installer a while ago)

I think I have to be a little more clear about the problem as Opera does handle the links perfectly fine. The LFS window just won't appear on my screen even though the process is running.

No, lfs:// protocol link. Which should open lfs up. For example lfs://join=^4NDR^0.^7RSC%20%26%20TBOC%202010

You know the feature that made join2lfs redundant even though it worked perfectly well.

Hiya

For a reason LFS and Opera don't work together. IIRC I have mentioned about this earlier (:hide LFS apparently will start since I can see it in the running processes but I see no window for it.

Opera 10.51 on Windows XP home.

I can't see how you could possibly hook up another computer to show a view of both rear view mirrors. To be honest I fail to see any point in having the number 2 computer at all.

What comes to the rest or the question, if I understood it correctly, you simply need to set up one of the computers as the server and connect to it with the other. Or you could use the third computer to use as a dedicated server, whatever rocks your boat. But basically with computer #1 start with "multiplayer ->start new host". Then when the host is up get your command prompt (press windows key and r, type cmd, press enter), type ipconfig and press enter. You'll see the ip address of the (game) host computer. Then simply connect to that host with the other computer by going to "multiplayer -> join specific host -> local network" and type in the IP address to the IP address field.

And for the love of god learn some punctuation.
