The brake problems sound a bit like the problems I had with iracing back in 2008. With pot brakes you want linear brake pedal so you have the best precision where the threshold braking happens on the pedal travel. Iracing was still at time forcing nonlinear brake curve which was huge pain in the ass.
If you don't have linear brake pedal the brake pedal feels very imprecise because the difference of braking just below the limit and braking just above the limit is non-existent.
Set the brake gamma to 1 for all pedals. The advice is just totally wrong when some people say to use unlinear brake curve (other than 1) for pot brakes. That is just so wrong.
I don't have ac but in nkpro there was this sound folder where the samples were and there was also two .nke files. One for internal sound ad one for external sounds. Reading the .nke files and going from there should be pretty self-explanatory because there isn't all that much to adjust. Finding good samples is very difficult though.
It varies for individuals. You can actually feel your sugar levels and you get certain feelings when your blood sugar goes too high or low. Some people get less feelings and some don't get any feelings at all and have to rely 100% to measuring it using a meter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMMpeLLgdgY
A diabetic person who uses insulin usually has to inject himself before or after eating to prevent bloodsugar from rising too high. If you forget to inject you will get bad feeling, headache, nausea and stuff like that first. But the risen blood sugar won't make you pass out if you forget one shot. People, usually kids who develop diabetes have to deal with the diabetes without insulin for weeks in some cases before the disease is found. Lack of insulin kills really slowly. A lot of symptoms appear first.
The one that causes problems is when the blood sugar goes too low. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypoglycemia
That can happen quickly. Simply inject insulin but forget to eat or inject too much insulin. Too much excercise, too little carbohydrates. Miscalculation, human error. People also have different blood sugar levels when they start losing consiousness. Some lose consiousness at higher levels than others. Some can't feel the low blood sugar and don't get any feelings of hunger, hands shaking and discomfort before losing consciousness.
If you forget to take a shot at dinner you will not pass out. Period. If you read your own link from the wikipedia it mainly mentions the chronic high blood sugar levels. And then there is this: "Temporary hyperglycemia is often benign and asymptomatic. Blood glucose levels can rise well above normal for significant periods without producing any permanent effects or symptoms. "
If you forget to eat but take your insulin shot you will pass out if you can't feel it.
Diabetics not getting their insulin injections for few hours and then dying or passing out is just a stupid hollywood cliche that has very little to do with reality. Insulin is not medicine for diabetes that keeps the seizures away. It is a tool for adjusting blood sugar levels.
I don't think there has been any effort by pd ever since the first gt game on psx put into the sounds. The sounds are literally so shitty one has to imagine if pd even has a sound guy at all that does car sounds. Or maybe the guy is just as productive as eric is with making lfs tracks... Creating individual wav (or mid) sounds using notepad and that stuff... With forza and gt it is like two ends of the spectrum. Forza sounds amazing or at least great most of the time while gt is just awkwardly bad 99% of the time.
The game sells millions and millions of copies each time it comes out so money can not be an issue. It is just "not giving a shit about sounds" that is the problem imho.
And so far for the sounds in gt6 there is just a chance for some updated sounds coming for gt6. Kaz apparently used the words "new sounds possibly for gt6 in a patch". And even if that happens how big improvement it is going to be? After gt6 is out pd will focus on gt7 as much as they can because I can't imagine sony waiting for years and years this time around to get such an important system seller game released on their newest console.
Gt6 seems like something pd just wants to get done fast because they made an agreement with sony to make 2 gt games for ps3 and not doing one could cost them money. That's the only reason I think gt6 is coming to ps3 at all. And that is also the reason why it seems to be so underwhelming in all aspects in regards to innovation, new features and improvements any gt player would want to see.
Person with diabetes doesn't "die" or lose conciousness if he forgets the insulin unless he "forgets" it for days. And for a diabetic person to lose consciousness it is far more likely he forgot to eat than to forget to take insulin.
The nascars are kinda fun to drive on road courses. Plus in gt6 they are apparently putting the new 2013 cars in addition to the 2011 and 2010 spec nascars into the game. With the new slightly less understeery and less rotation resistant physics the nascars could be even more fun to drive.
When I saw alonso going over the kerbs I was kinda wondering if that did hurt. Hitting those kerbs with the bottom of the car can very easily cause compression fractures to your back. Definitely smart move to check it at least imho for alonso.
So pd now has the rights to use senna name in the game. Hopefully pd doesn't do as shitty job with it as they did with nascar/topgear/loeb/vettel in gt5.
But knowing pd they probably put together a pack which consists of senna's driver suit as a prize for some boring seasonal type of event where you do few "races" where you pass 15 cars in one lap in some sennasque vacuum cleaner sounding econobox. Finishing top on all the events grants you a mega prize of senna's kart with his yellow helmet livery omg... They probably call it the Ayrton Senna challenge...
It is just amazing how absolutely poor job pd did with all those licenses in gt5. It is just a tragedy there was no even where you had to beat stig's times for example. Just unforgivable! While I'm not exactly expecting to see senna's formula cars in gt6 (Imho formula cars in gt5 drive like crap) but I'd like to see it done better than the type of lazy afterthought idea.
Are you for real? With that logic the 2nd turn of any chicane is "the exit of the first turn". You have three turns there. First one is a right hander and that is followed by a left hander. If you go wide on the exit of the first turn you cut the apex of the second turn. Period. All drivers were effectively cutting that apex at some part of the quali or race. It is just typical inconsistency from fia to allow it.
I don't really mind the drivers going outside the white lines on corner exit unless they go way way off the track and not just outside the outer white line for few inches. Cutting the corners is different when you cut the corner at the apex. On his pole lap vettel went outside the white line 3 times and was on the white line 2 more times. Here are the 3 over the white line parts:
That 2nd pic shows him cutting the corner apex which is what I personally do not want to see. The rest is fine. That is a very difficult and blind corner though so I would not want the tragicomical incident system from iracing where it is down to one pixel whether you were perfectly ok or unsafe...
Going wide on corner exits happens on every track. It happens in monza in the lesmos, in spa in t9 and so forth. Or the old A1 ring.
Bathurst s defenately one of the most challenging tracks to drive consistently. It has few very difficult braking and acceleration zones and some turns are difficult to be consistent at the limit. But it is a great track once you learn it. I think it would be amazing in the late model I think .
That money is going to be a huge pita for williams to get next season if maldonado leaves or can not bring that kind of money anymore. And I doubt it is not exactly easy to get more sponsors with those bad results their 2013 season is full of now...
I think the pd laser scanned tranks have been pretty god so far. Spa was really good job, Suzuka is really good as well. Fuji is a bit bland track but the track shape is probably very correct, Tsukuba is nice as well and so are Nürburgring and the 'ring and so forth. Probably the only average track is the daytona road course. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if Bathurst was really good as well.
I have to say I really hope pd creates more of their own tracks for gt6 as well. Dropping some of the old gt fantasy circuits is not a good decision.
I'm still very much undecided whether to get gt6 or not. It looks more like a patch to gt5 than a true gt6 so far. The physics stuff is nice but the sounds are still horrible, the car selection is old and hard to use, the ai is just a complete joke and the a-spec needs major innovation to get even close to forza as a game.
So with that the car looks like a mishmash of red and black color most of the time because the heat is not the same in the shadow as it is in the sun light?
You had red ping indicator just before that started happening. Maybe it was just a connection issue?
Also I think I saw you in quickybaby's livestream. I remembered that you used that xyzzu nick in lfs too.
It was me in my 100% stock type. You would have lost that game but our full health hellcat lost a duel to the enemy arty. And I yoloed around a corner to circle a kv1s and my team just camped behind the corner instead of helped me... Sometimes your team mates just..
Damn that type 58 is brutally slow without any updates. Not as bad as the T44 which I'm currently playing stock though. That thing is BRUTAL. Tier 8 with 144 pen, mobility of lawn mower and armor made of frozen grass.
Need to save some monies to get isu152 though, 30% discount now.
