Where did you race on during these years?
I bet you have some tracks to race on...
Or should i say:1 post since your registration? That took quite a while...
I think im gonna race a bit more seriously from now on.
I already have a personal skin but(thanks to Bean0 for that) but i just got bored of it(its just that im stupid:razz.
Well,i post my request here,if anyone wants to fullfill it i will be very happy.
I know requesting things sucks,i could do one on my own but i can use applications to work on pictures and im not good at graphics.
Anyway,im looking for someone to do my whole set of skins, and when i say whole i mean whole
I know its a big work,i feel so ashamed about this
I need a FOX skin,a FO8 skin and a helmet too.
Im not posting anything more, first i wanna know if there's any mad guy who wants to lose a bit of time on my request.
If you think its too much just let me know
I will add more stuff afterwards.
Mmm,i dont live anywhere but...
You just need a wheel?
Look for a megastore, there are plenty of them around i suppose.
I would have suggested you to look for an online shop that allows you to withdraw the item by hand but i dont know any, unfortunately.
But,look like there's a Mediaworld somewhere in Ravenna:
The point is that you should buy a set of pedals with a clutch not to be faster or the fastest(not JUST for that,at least)but to simulate the game experience even better.
There is tons of evidence proving that joypad and mouse users are as fast if not faster than -wheel with clutch- users.
Is it a disadvantage to have a clutch?Probably, but no one forced you to use one and no one has to have one because you use it.
I enjoy playing LFS and i would enjoy it too even if i raced with a keyboard(i think).I dont feel the need to start using a mouse to have light speed countersteer and to save a bit of space around my desk.
NO,i let others play the way they want and i don't care if im slower.
Plenty of things aren't fair, but you never find two drivers with the same identical setup.
I could say that my DFP is limiting me compared to people who have better wheels, but who cares?
I find it really uncomfortable to sit on a chair and place my wheel on my desk but i have to wait until i get a playseat or similar.
I find it really annoying to stay in front of my 15 inch laptop, with two tiny speakers trying to push sound waves out of them.
I could even complian the fact that you have a clutch pedal and, because of that, you are much more precise controlling the car at the start or while changing gears.
I could go on forever,i am just waiting for someone to suggest compulsory helmet to drive online.
Why you want people to have the same things that you have?Ever tought some racers cannot afford a good wheel,a bigger screen,a playseat?
Where can i find one of those setups?
Im not so good at tweaking the car
I was watching one of shawn's video at Laguna and i was surprised by how hard he was turning inside corners,i can't do that.
It is surely me
Im playing it with the promo code from radical sportscar site.
Well,it is damn hard...
It took me ten laps on Laguna Seca to do a clean one.
The fastest i could do was 1.25.025 and i assure you it was bloody hard to make the car go wherever i wanted.
Now im trying Silverstone, and im starting to drive differently from lfs.
I feel the weight shift but i cant really tell whats happening to the tires.
It's a good game,no doubt, but the subscription thing is frustrating.
DFP is already unappropriate for iracing,FFB is good but the dfp is too jerky and not fluid in response.
This game is not for me,i appreciate the free month but i won't be able to continue playing once the month expires
Sooooooo, how does it compare to LFS in terms of driving precision, simulation and blah blah?
Is there anyone here who plays both LFS and Iracing the same amount of time?
Im starting my free month now, what to expect?
Well i have both Rfactor and LFS and, just as a start,i found it very different driving the BMW Sauber in each of those games.
F1 is pretty easy in Rfactor,no aids and i can consistently drive at Silverstone in 1.22 something.
On the other hand, while we cant compare tracks because LFS's ones are fictional,i find it so hard and demanding to drive the F1 in LFS without TC.
Rfactor has good mods too, enduracers one is damn good, just stay away from the home-made crap and you will be ok.
As soon as you learn the track and how the car must be driven you got to be very consistent throughout a race.
You must prefer driving a second slower than trying to be faster and end up ruining the car or crash into other players.
I speak as a FOX lover, but IMHO the FO8 is on another level for fun and challenge.
Its probably the most difficult vehicle to master, and the most unused at the same time...
