You can either connect it via USB or directly to the DFP (but then you only got 2 pedals).

Thrustmaster's Rally GT wheel has the possibility to connect another pedal set, so you you have 4 pedals on the wheel.

there are some i like, but the worst is indeed Comic Sans and 2nd place goes to Times New Roman.

it has been suggested several times, but it would be really easy to enhance the LFS sound. just keep the engine sound as it is, just add some other wave "noises" as gearbox, gravel, brakes, better tire squeal, better crash sounds etc.
That would be a big improvement.

And please bring back the old sound quality from S1. It was so much better. Not the sound itself, the quality!

Since there are no drivers for the PS2, the game developers must provide the drivers with the game.
It may work with some games if you are lucky, but i doubt it.

A good example is the Logitech Momo. It worked in GT4 Prologue, but not in GT4. That's a marketing move for sure, because of the DFP/GT4 deal. They had to make some effort to deactivate the Momos, since they worked in GT4P already.

yes, they are basically the same. the screws are a little different, i've heard there are more, the DFP has only 9.

i opened my first pedal set about 20 times! it's a little bit tricky to close it, but everyone with 2 hands (even with 2 left ones) should be able to do it

I really like GTR and GTL, never liked rF though (just doesn't look right).

But it was the same with GTR and GTL, when it was new, i really liked it, the sound, the cockpits, the nice real tracks, the possibility to drive over the curbs , etc.
GTR came before S2, so S1 wasn't really a competitor, GTR had all the nice features, tire wear, pitstops, fuel consumption..

But at some point i always came back to LFS. I guess because it's just so "simple".
You click on the lfs icon and 1 minute later you are on the server. And it's so easy to organize a race, change the track, restart, set the grid.

all that is not possible with those simbin games. the checking of the copy protection alone lasts almost 1 minute.
you need a hi-end machine to run the dedicated server (if there is one), you can't just restart the race, move someone in the grids, and then all those bugs.

So at some point i was always happy to come back to my lfs, because it just works

afaik it's from 2004, the BMWs had a double victory back then. He drove in both cars
They won in 2005 as well though

There are 2 different videos from Stuck and the GTR around, one with a little insert where you can see the shifter and one without. Don't know which it is in the link.
But they were both from qualifiying/pracitce sessions.
