SHORT DESCRIPTION:
Quote :Boosted friend's Roku Hatch, Supercharged

DESCRIPTION:
Quote :Hello again,

This time I made a Akiyama Wataru Car from Initial D (probably 4th stage), why this is special for me, because it's using 4A-GZE which are supercharged. Very uncommon to see 4 cyl supercharged beside Kawasaki H2

for now I use Turbo as boost, hope in future LFS will support Supercharger natively, the sounds not as my liking, but whining supercharger sounds was close enough as per my ears, it could be better but waiting martin18 to refine all things

Quote from seksen :Thank you very much for bringing this mode to the game. I suggest you turn off derivatives, then turn them back on if someone wants to make a sensible mod. It will be more enjoyable if you correct the display errors.

Please point out which error by screenshot, otherwise I could really know and do the fix Big grin

Quote :Japanese Traffic car Saloon 4 Door sedan, feels the 90s !

DESCRIPTION:
Quote :hello again,

now I'm going to put my beloved Accord CB3, to this beloved game

actually this model are used for jerk client who are runaway when the model are 80%-90% done, it's been abandoned on my drive for a long time, and in 2015 I tried to put this to LFS with old-gen modding system

after a while thinking, I think it's better to put it to the new-gen modding system nowaday, as now we could have a very detailed specs to it, rather than using FXO based like on the old time

here you have it !! thanks to OpenClutch that helping me with lots of stuff, including those beautifully accurate HUD, also with the handling, I do hope this car would represent how Accord CB3 drives in real life Big grin

========================================

NOTE FOR DERIVATIVES

If you ever wanted to make derivs of this mod, please please please, dont riced this beauty car, dont add 700hp bullshit to this, and dont put some nonsense-nonlogical bodykit to it that make this beauty looks and drive awfully Frown please

Can I report what I find?

Okay, first of all, I haven't tried D48 yet, I'm still on D46, but I can feel a whole lot improvement there ! now we could do offroading with bike, quite tricky but a whole lot improvement, where previously it's difficult to keep the bike didnt fall even on straight line

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/296706819425042442/1170413807277973525/1104.mp4

but secondly, I think there's something strange, when I tried every fast bike mod, I notice there's something that wobbly when turning... I dont know if this caused by TC ignition cut that active as assist, or something else, this wobbly steering didnt happen before on old bike control

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/296706819425042442/1170650144472039434/Live_for_Speed_2023-11-05_16-04-45.mp4

I've uploaded it on LFS discord, but they suggest me to report it directly on the test patch, so here it is Big grin

DESCRIPTION:
Quote :Hello again,

This time I made a drift car using base Skyline R32

but I wanted to made something unusual than any other R32 mod out there, this time the car was inspired by Bee*R 324 (Nissan Skyline GTS-T R32 with face swap Skyline GT-R R34)

the spec are tentative, for now I tried the most realistic spec used for D1GP, but I put another spec that detuned based on Best Motoring videos about this car

DESCRIPTION:
Quote :Hello again,

this time is my hypercreation doing a kit from Tetsuya Hibino's S15 LBWK Super Silhouette full-spec using technique that learned long time ago, called "Eyemetry", in which all geometry you see in this car (except the base car which obviously from Partan's Saliva S15) are completely hand made with just seeing some photos over the internet, not using any blueprints at all as how people usually do

this is love or hate game, so if you find this mod cringe, please ignore this mod, because this mod ain't for you to try

Quote from versiu :I driven it a bit more in last days.
I'm suprised how stable it is. Even if turbo spools, tyre slips on corner exit or anything hapens with rear tyres grip it always go forward without changing direction. Suspension tune is just amazing.

I only retuned brakes because defaults feels to weak to me.
On video below I had something like 2700+Nm and then reduced to 2088Nm with 63% bias. Feels good to me now but it might be too agressive.

About new sound (video was recorded with old one). It feels and sould like RB26 could. Thumbs up

why this forum didnt give me any notification about this :/

aaanyway, glad you like it, I'm amazed how you be able to control it, the suspension tuning I think really spot on, I watch million times of this video just to predict how the car react from stand still to its maximum topspeed as per video.

But I'd like to hear about any other opinions about this my very own suspension tuning (aside from my wingman, martin18, who usually develop all of my suspension tuning from previous mods)

if you had any suggestions about how to tune suspension more so it could be used more for track use, let me know Big grin

I think I havent experience this before, but well, I'd fixed it now by shortened the areas of s_plate, quite unfortunate we need to adjust it exactly as the text shown, no excess area allowed

Quote from ivancsx :I just found out, s_plate texture somehow bugged on D39

the number plate somehow duplicates AI s_plate with mine, in this case, AI 13, as you could see from the first 2 pict I attached below.

anyway, I do love how now AI could be set on open config track, so I could set some scene for my upcoming mod like how I did on 3rd pict Big grin

As for comparison, I had attached this conditions when I'm still on D33, and after I just downloaded the latest, D39, the pronlem exist

Quote from Scawen :People in Asia, Oceania, North / South America, the incomplete files issue should be fixed so please try again with the new option and see if you get mods more quickly from the redirected locations. You will see a yellow redirect message if you are redirected.

If you enable Options... Misc - Allow HTTP redirect [EXPERIMENTAL]
Locations in Asia and Oceania should download mods from Japan
Locations in North and South America should download from USA

I confirm, the download speed are now faster now for me who living slowest internet speed in Asia region, and for mods that have big file size now are downloaded successfully without any incomplete file download. I would say it's well done Big grin

the only things that still need to test with my ISP too are, when connecting to servers outside US and Asia for joining any server room, it often timed out, sometimes cannot entering the server, sometimes can connect but in the middle of race or cruise, I often kicked out due to time out. my ISP probably are on NAT3 state which very restrictive, but other games beside LFS are fine despite experiencing huge lag spikes

Quote from Scawen :Nice reason to use LFS editor! Uhmm Ya right Big grin

well, for me personally, it's addicting because I could directly see the result without opening the main LFS program, so if I ever spot irregularities on the model that I'm making, I could fix it directly, also I could adjust the mechanical aspect based on the 3D model I'm making there, it's addicting to me personally, makes me kinda autistic when working with it hahaha

also, it's challenging because control input relatively simple yet completely different treat than any other 3d modeller, let's say in 3dsmax, there's cut tools to split 1 quad to 2 or many quads just in that area we're select, while in LFSE, in build mode, when we click on 2 points, there's a blue (?) or grey points, that if we click it makes another split to it, and redo the process to the another tris that we want to split.

so yeah, that's why Big grin

Quote from Scawen :This thread is only about the modeller, not the vehicle editor or mods system in general.

Do you have any key suggestions? It's easier for me if you can do as much research as possible. For example if you know a key for a similar feature in another program, or simply have your own suggestion.

Oh, if it specific for modeller, then maybe my suggestion were M for "Fuse to Average", and alt+M for "Fuse to Green" since Shift+M already assigned with "Map" tab, because in Blender if I remembered correct (havent open Blender for a long time because LFSE more addicting and challenging to make something), M were also assigned for fuse (or Merge in Blender menu says)

Or maybe.... can we have a dialog version just like when we tried to extrude points? Would be feel handy with only hotkey M, just like how E for Extrude were defined Big grin

I do wish there's a limiter on all settings like suspension, drivetrain, etc, so we could have one car with limited or even fixed setup,

also, waiting hotkey for "fuse to green" and "fuse to average" Big grin
