Anyone got any decent FFB settings for a G27? Default was shaking my desk and second monitor to pieces, reduced gain to 50% and now it's just practically non-existent.
Multiplayer still seems very annoying. Like for example, if you click a server in the list then click out of it, it takes you back to the top of the server list again!?!?! And don't get me started on how long the setup verification takes - I've missed 2 starts because it had to re-verify my set when I changed it from qual to race....
This is very true. And also I think I've got used to how to drive in LFS (i.e. sliding is ok!) whereas I'm still trying to figure out iR (where is really isn't!)
I still end up several seconds off the pace even in fixed set series. :/ Like last week with the Skippys at COTA, (Ok not fixed set but damn close!) I was over 4 seconds a lap slower than the fastest people (2:27-2:32), which is over 2 seconds per min of laptime. In LFS I'm ~1s per min of laptime slower than the best and IRL a tad less than that. I really don't understand the very big spread of times in iR.
Looks good. I normally browse using "new posts", so the only things that seem to be annoyingly missing are the "New Posts" button on all threads (it's only on the main page, seemingly) and something telling me which sub-forum each post is in.
Regarding the official Round 1 results - I think someone's copied the KY500 results by accident for the "gaps" column. I mean I know I'm slow, but I'm not 7 laps down slow.
Deko is making up for the fact that everyone complains when there's even a tiny breeze in LFSCART by ramping up the wind when we're trying to play glof.
