Practice 1:
Just wow!
BBC have got some great camera angles where you can see the cars and drivers working so hard.
The onboards through turn 11 are astonishing, you can see all the movements the drivers are putting into the steering wheel to counter-act the movements of the cars over the bumps in the first 2/3 corners of the new infield section.
Doing what?
letting off the throttle on a straight to let the car behind overtake? or,
Crash into someone then wait for them? or,
Make a mistake into a corner and give the driver behind the advantage on the exit?
Just to point out, the incident between you and Menatoll was, in my eyes, totally your fault. You squeezed him right onto the grass where you had room for another 3 - 4 cars on your left, and none of that space was occupied. I could see what was coming but by the time the thought of backing off came into my head the accident had already happened. I got caught up in that accident too when you sent yourself and Menatoll spearing across the circuit at the fastest corner.
Not very good spacial awareness on your behalf.
touché
But there are not many other corners at the Spa circuit that are that fast, whereas you have a relatively huge selection of corners took at similar speeds throughout the Silverstone circuit.
Personally I do not think Silverstone is loosing much by cutting out Bridge corner, not much overtaking was done there except one or two ballsy moves from drivers with nothing to loose.
The same could be said for nearly every other corner on the Silverstone racing circuit, but skipping one classic corner to add in two potential overtaking spots is an absolute gain from my position.
Tristan, it seems you are talking about Bridge corner from a drivers perspective, therefore I thoroughly respect your opinion, but the truth is, I am never going to experience Bridge corner so I am quick to overlook that point of view. Sorry.
If it was more contrasting colours I think it would look more 'home made'.
But who gives a flying... fudge... It looks awesome, I love the purple and black!
Didn't want to bump a thread in such a manor, but that comment isn't exactly nice. How do you think the families of a motorcycle rider would feel if a video of their treasure being killed was uploaded onto a social video network for millions of people around the world to watch. Some sick people may laugh at a humans death.
I don't think any sportsman would appreciate their death being broad-casted in such a disrespectful way.
Wishes like that can only come from a mad mans head, I know I certainly would never want to watch the death of someone doing what he loved to do! It would only make me feel shocked and upset to watch people be killed by doing what they loved.
How are you supposed to learn from someone falling from a motorcycle. It may have been their error, and unless It happens time and time again at the same place I see no need at all to show other people horrific results of miscalculation.
Does anyone else think that the BTCC is a crashfest this year?
In the past there has always been minor contact and such, stuff that drivers could quote "rubbing's racing" with after the race, but 2010 just seems ridiculous, If drivers can not pass they just put their cars into the back of whoever they are trying to pass.
I could go on for ages, but there are just too many to list.
Something that really got to me on Sunday at Croft was an incident at the hairpin, can't remember who it involved (possibly because there were so many incidents at that hairpin) but listening to Tim Harvey basically say that if a driver has sat behind a car for long enough he has right to make contact to force a pass, come to think of it I think it was Collard(surprise) against Chilton. This, to me is unacceptable.
It annoys me when I have to try to spot a car without damage after every race, It's a championship, not a one off race.
I will admit, I have enjoyed some of the battles this year between closely matched cars, but at the minute it's really putting me off the BTCC, so much so I now prefer to watch the PCC GB.
Hi guys, Can some people post some UFR bodykits they may have laying about please?
I've been looking for one for a couple of weeks, but I can't find a decent one, all the downloads I have found are dead links.
And yes, I have used the search button =]
Would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks in advance, Jake!
