A file must be placed in the ../lfs/data/script folder called something like arb_fr_up.lfs
(Also attached)
(// means comment is here)
Then you bind a script execute command to one of your button box buttons in the LFS Controls menu under Ctrl + or Alt + to call the script eg: /run arb_fr_up (edit: removed typo)
Assign the button box button to that bind.
Repeat for ...
arb_fr_dn.lfs (arb front down)
arb_r_up.lfs
arb_r_dn.lfs
Also see ../lfs/docs/commands.txt for more detailed help
Well no, I disagree that VW would think it's not ready so go and tell LFS devs - don't release yet, cause they let the Scirocco into NFS:UC and that isn't exactly realistic one iota. For a start it has NOS and will 90 degree corner at 180 MPH. Maybe because they (EA) paid for the licence to use it so that allowed an "anything goes" mentality, but I don't think VW are stopping the release at all. If anything about that area it's the Dev's thinking it's not good enough yet.
I'm guessing they are making it so the front can fall off so we have some time to wait yet.
Don't lock this thread, it's a good garbage collector.
Ha, Thread was renamed. I thought he initially he meant moveable Windows for LFS to. Shift-F4 gives you moveable windows :P
I can't for the life of me even tell how it is useful to open/close car door windows, even in TDU. Even if it's for realism.... I can think of 100 things that would bring more realism that would be useful. sry
I'll confirm this 100%. Layouts/Track autocross editing is not a feature of the demo. Sorry.
To access autocross editing (licenced s1 s2), you press shift-u and use space to bring up the menu. Then in the shift-u menu, you have an option to place objects yes/no.
TELSTRA telemarket me and I managed to get the sales rep to admit that my current plan is better than anything they can offer.
Everyone I know that has TELSTRA are getting ripped off. The only reason this company can continue to survive is because their customers don't know the difference between 5GB and 500MB.
Just something to add here to save you some time until this feature is done (or not). You don't have to close/re-open LFS to view changes to textures. Just change from hi-res to low-res, then back to hi-res textures in the GRAPHICS menu. Best done in single player, because doing this online will sometimes time out out.
