Quote from The Very End :.

Crabs I don't know about, but I hate spiders and... jellyfish. I don't feel like swimming in the ocean because of the chance of having some gelatin tentacled thing wrapped around my leg.

Quote from CheerioDM :Why do people shit bricks when some authorities can't get the story 100% correct the first time out? It is still a recent event and anyone was capable of pulling it off or setting it up in a way to throw people off. Screw the idiots that use social media. If you even spend the time to read anything those internet whores bang out on their keyboard you may be as big a loser as them.
When I first heard of this going down in my country I thought nothing of it. It happens everywhere else all the time. Do you people even read the news or do like I do and visit some of the gore sites to get a bit of the uncensored reality?
If this happened in my city I would not even open my mouth unless it was to give support to the victims or discuss any personal insight that you may not be able to get from the internet troll forums. There are already many answers concerning the questions people have about the planning of the attack and the perpetrators.
Give it some more time and stop acting like ****ing Sherlock Holmes 2013.

Here's the thing. It doesn't matter what happens, when, where - there is always a conspiracy theory.

In fact, I will say right now that the next terrorist attack in the US (there will be one, eventually) will be an inside job according to Racer X. Also, the one after that and the one after that.

The situation doesn't matter. The fact don't matter, the location or method does not matter. All that matters is that the evidence is not 100% conclusive and therefore the government was involved. The evidence will never be 100% conclusive. Never, ever. With this simple reasoning, we can easily conclude that god exists; we never landed on the moon; Obama is a terrorist; the moon is hollow; there is no global warming or in any case it's not man-powered and that any terrorist attack is an inside job.

In fact, even if the evidence was conclusive and everything was known and accepted as fact; it would still be a conspiracy. After all, isn't it just a little bit strange that all the facts are so well known and accepted? Must be an exceptionally well planned inside job with placed evidence.

Quote from flymike91 :Why would every stoner in this country be expected to know anything about either the similar-sounding Czech Republic or Chechnya.

Sort of crucial that when you publicly wish a horrible death upon an entire nation or demographic group, that you have some vague idea of who, or what, you're talking about.

Just my opinion.

Oh wait...

This was actually an argument somewhere in the iRacing forums. No kidding.

Quote from Bmxtwins :7 points could make thedifference in the end. Dont be so hard on vettel

A team and teammate who have at least a little bit of respect left for you over 90% of the season is worth more than 7 points.

The unrest and shift in balance within the team that this incident has caused is not worth 7 points. We'll see what sort of ripple effect this has on the rest of the season.

The real problem with the game (and I'm not even talking about the city processing errors, traffic issues, SIMs traveling to the nearest available house instead of their 'own' house, population inflation, broken zoning, tiny cities, etc) is that the region play - you know, that thing they focused their entire game concept on - is completely broken.

Sims don't travel between cities properly, don't really go to school anywhere else, visitors and tourists just seem to come from invisible places in 'the region', Hell - the chat still does not even seem to work properly.

It's just a terrible state to release a AAA game in. Very, very, very bad.

Yet... I can't stop myself from playing it. I'll be bored of it once everything works though, like everyone else. I guess the thing is, that it's not a bad game, but it misses out on reaching its own potential by such a large margin that you might as well be playing an alpha version.

Quote from Lionclaw23 :So you don't want to see close racing, instead long trains off cars doing nothing?

I love close racing, but that takes nothing away from the fact that it was a stupid move to make. I can view those things as two entirely separate things. If you're willing to throw away a 1-2 in such a dangerous way you're just a dumb kid in an expensive car.

I'm not supporting nonsense as it was seen at Mercedes, but there is more than one way to make a pass, and going maximum risk in the second race of the season with your teammate is a bit odd to say the least.

Something is definitely up at Red Bull - this is not a healthy team right now.

Can't believe Vettel... as if it's his main rival and it's a pass in the last race for the championship. His ego is getting a bit too big for his own good.

Quote from dawesdust_12 :Hitler did actually do SOME good for Germany. Yes his evil actions far outshone the good things he did but Hitler did manage to do some positive things for Germany.

When 'good' things are done in service to and for the purpose of an evil cause, are they still good? It's an interesting question really.

Quote from Intrepid :I don't get it? He screwed up because he took a risk? This is F1, team principals take risks, sometimes they work (F-Duct, flexi-wing etc..., double-decker diffuser) sometimes they don't (DDRS, front exhaust etc...). Risk is part of the game.

Not to get too involved since you guys seem to be having fun, but that is odd reasoning. He didn't screw up in taking a risk. He screwed up in having that risk not pay off in the end. Risk is part of the game, yes. That doesn't mean it can't screw you over in the end though, does it?

Risk vs reward, all that.

Quote from e2mustang :well judgeing from the videos of recent races from lfsers, specially the crashes its still a pos. is there a new cracked version btw so i can verify this?

I'm pretty sure that, if you're absolutely convinced (with near religious zeal, from what I can tell) that something is utter shite, you're not going to change your mind by checking out a product to verify your pre-established beliefs.

tldr: You're spitting something out before you've tasted it.

Quote from Inouva :There is one problem with mi router, you have to umplug the coaxial cable and press during 15 sec the "Factory Reset" boton to be able to enter to the router configuration... and doing that is a pain in the ass each time i wanna play online...

Uhhh, what?

You should just be able to set a MAC filter to only allow specific MAC addresses. This is not something you need to do every time you go online - your MAC address never changes, but you will have to find them for every device you have which goes online (phone, laptop, etc)

Quote from col :I have a question for you:

What if you have many hundreds of pounds/dollars worth of games on steam, and then due to an error on their part, steam decides you have broken the user agreement and stops your account.
Is there a fair appeals system using third party arbitration backed up by law that protects you rights as a consumer, or is it just up to steam whether to re-instate you?
(Remember, if there is no legislation in your country to protect you, you could lose ALL your games that you paid hard earned money for.)

It's an honest question, who/what defends your consumer rights if there is problem with your steam account?

There is legislation within the EU which protects your rights in these cases. There has to be a valid reason to terminate your account (ie, you need to have broken their user agreement as you said).

If you broke their user agreement - who are you to ask questions? It's not as if it says in there "if you log in on a tuesday at exactly 13:37 we have the right to ban you". The stuff in there is fairly general as far as I know. And there's another reason why Valve is not likely to completely close off your steam account, especially if you have hundreds of euros worth of games on there: you're a paying customer. Banning a guy who spends hundreds of euros on games for frivoloties is hardly a solid business plan. These guys are not the spawn of Satan or anything. They sell games and offer customer service to retain those customers.

You might ask the same question in a different context: what if your house burns down and you lose your entire library of games?
