Yes. They take every activity (high altitude camps/michael jackson pods), non-activity (abstinence) and each drink, drug, eatable, injection, potion, ointment, provision and spiritual advice that is not forbidden or they think they can get away with.
"Nobody should be cheating at major sportevents". Correction, "Nobody should be cheating that much at major sportevents". He cheated too much that's why he got caught. They ALL cheat
Still it's better than the alternative (if you have a crappy software firewall that keeps record of hashes of the programs accessing internet) locking up the computer.
Go to control panel->game controllers->properties of your wheel->click settings. Untick "Pedals reported as..." - Combined (single axis - used by most games). Click close. <- "is used by most games" actually wrong nowadays, it was correct ~10 years ago...
Verify that both brake and accelator pedal needles go all the way to the right when press both at the same time.
Start LFS. Go to Options->Controls->Click wheel/js if not already selected->Axes/FF
Press both pedals at the same time, you should see two horizontal yellow bars moving on the list of axes on right side of the screen, if so move on.
Make sure you have Throttle / brake axes setting on separate (in middle of the options you see top of the screen)
Click throttle in Select function to assign axis, press your accelerator pedal. Press the name of the axis you saw moving (the button between the number and the C buttons).
Press accelerator, do you see green vertical bar moving in lower-right corner of the screen? If so you set it correctly. When you release the pedal if the bar stays up you need to click the invert button next to the throttle button
Repeat 8 and 9 for brake
Press both brake and accelerator at the same time, do you see a red and green vertical bar moving on lower-right corner of the screen? If so, congrats! You've set your pedals correctly.
If you have made a profile for LFS in Wingman Profiler, then you need to select LFS profile in Wingman and go to Edit-> Specific Game Settings and either untick Report combined pedals or alternatively untick Use Special Steering Wheel Settings.
I have Logitech Driving Force Pro, hence some settings might be named slightly different etc, but the procedure should be the same with Logitech MOMO
Dual boot does unlock LFS if you use the same installation on both OSes. You need to have separate LFS for each OS. Existance of another OS shouldn't do it though.
Hibernation also makes LFS unlock it self, or hibernation prior to unlocking LFS and then rebooting.
Nine posts and not one bothered to answer the guy? .....
Start LFS
Click multiplayer
Ensure Online mode S2 is selected
Click start new game
Select track (only comes up if you're running latest test patch and you can change it later)
Change setting visibility to hidden
Change game name something easy to write, clear and unique, like "nickh"
The password options don't matter so much as you're running the game hidden and only those who know the name can join, secondly you only want to set the admin password if you need/want others to control the server. As you're running the server locally, you already have admin capabilities.
Tell others you want to play with to do:
Start LFS
Click multiplayer
Ensure Online mode S2 is selected
Click Join specific game
Ensure Join game on: internet is selected
Change game name to the one you set when you started the server
Note, the password field is also used for the admin login
The other options are pretty straightforward, just make sure you don't exceed your upload bandwith.
See attachment, the first weather option should be:
Täysin pilvinen Iltapäivä
(3g_wth_over Overcast (Täysin pilvinen) + 3g_dt_after Afternoon (Iltapäivä)
But it actually is:
Täysin pilvinen IltapäivValoisa Aamu
3g_wth_over Overcast (Täysin pilvine) + 3g_dt_after Afternoon (Iltapäivä) + 3g_wth_clea Clear (Valoisa) + 3g_dt_morni Morning (Aamu)
If I shorten 3g_wth_over Overcast 2 chars to Täysin pilvin (that's incorrect) the string changes to the correctish
Täysin pilvin Iltapäivä
3g_wth_over Overcast (Täysin pilvinen) + 3g_dt_after Afternoon (Iltapäivä)
Afaik faster111 hasn't done anything but torment us with his spelling and grammar mistakes. I'm not part of the gramma police and don't except impeccable use of grammar and spelling. And I do understand if you're dyslexic or if you have english as 2nd or Nth language and the occasional typo. But ffs proofread your post even once or make even some effort.
Speaking of demo users who really deserve a license, I propose MonkOnHotTinRoof - the maker of LFS Lapper mod.
All typos and mistakes in the
post are intentional ;-)
There are several reasons why the translated text would be wrong/wierd. For example english is fairly simple compared to finnish where you have complex conjugations for pretty much every word.
There are size limits for the string which limit what you can put in there.
One string is combined of several different strings which in english is ok for both but translated to another language don't quite fit to both occasions.
The text string in english isn't always enough, you'd need to know the exact situation(s) it comes up to translate it correctly.
I don't get the point of this thread, I guess you thought Scavier made the translations themself using just a dictionary?
That's not ultra geeky, that's ultra stupid. Even surpasses the irrational imprerial measures. You'd always have to convert the @time to correct time.
Timezones are better because they have constancy and logic in them.
Unless you start comparing timezones you're not in during dst transition.... then it gets confusing, because not all countries change at the same time and some add hours/minutes and some subtract.
