If scawen would add the uv mapping/texures assignment to the smx files, it would make the whole process a lot easier. Its the main reason i havent used these files so far, its just too much work to get it how its supposed to be.
If i crashed on the road IRL, it will hurt a lot, because i dont have a big metal box to "protect" (read - Squash ) me when i do crash. Instead i'll get thrown into the nearest lamp post headfirst.
Btw, i hope i never EVER have to be anywhere near you lot in cars, you all sound f**king dangerous.
Guess they didnt test these on an ancient GF 5600.
When i turn anti aliasing on, LFS goes nuts, colours and lines everywhere, like the cards over heating (its not), as soon as i get to the 4x setting, everything works fine.
Heres a pic, was taken with a phone cam so its a bit crap, print screen didnt show the problem.
Nah, although some round here like to think they are. If it doesnt say "moderator" underneath their name, ignore their forum policing.
Heres the render, if you want anything changing, let me know and i'll re-do it for you.
Scene setup time = 5 mins
Render time = +45 mins, i need a faster PC.
(edit) HMM, just noticed the left rear wheel of the car closest to camera, wtf has happened there?
(edit 2) Ok, just looked in 3ds, and its actually a part of the car, the camera angle just makes the rear wheel look funny, as they are almost the same colour.
But they should only be recycled, when they no longer work.
That engine was running fine, i see no reason why anyone would just blow it up, for "fun" - Sitting there killing a perfectly working engine is not fun from my pov.
As the old saying goes "One Man's Rubbish Is Another Mans Treasure."
Why didnt they just take the engine out, and use it for spare parts/sell it?
Saying that though, you might aswell have a bit of fun if you are gonna kill it, like doing some burnouts/doughnuts ect, but no, not these guys. They just sit there and wait for it to blow up instead..
