Unfortunately it happens in real life racing, people don't like newer people being faster and in front of them.
@Preston - good to see you're trying to change your ways although I would have thought a better time to do it would have been when I kicked you off Moo.
Lets start planning. We shall start at 7pm GMT if that is ok with everybody and run 2 6-lap races on each combo. The combos will be hopefully fun and not well-known.
Entry List
Moo.Danny (The Almighty Me)
Moo.Ast (Bob)
Moo.S14 DRIFT (Jamie)
Moo.Looney (Niall)
Moo.MBK (Chris)

Reason : I didn't really call Bob Ben... :D
Stupidly I like to do things the difficult way so I will be attempting to create my own forum software sometime soon. In the mean-time I will setup a temporary one.
EDIT: We have a namechange for Niall. His racername is now Moo.Looney
We have 3 votes for trebor91 to join the team, 2 more and he will be a fellow team-member.
www.mooracing.co.uk is our website. It may not be working yet and I also need to make that header image. It shouldn't take long so I'll do it tomorrow night. I'll then get round to making an avatar for everyone.
Ugh, we really need a forum just for the team. My domain registrar has had their license taken off them (RegisterFly) so I dunno what's happening atm. They have $10 of mine
We've been invited to the IGTC series. I like the idea of this, 4 hour endurance races with a maximum or 4 drivers per car, 2 cars per team. I don't think we'd have enough people willing to race to field 2 cars but how about we try and get a car in for the second race? The first is on Saturday so it's pretty much out of the picture but I think if we came in for the second race it'd be a good team-building thing.
4 hours, 4 drivers, 1 hour each. We could do it in blocks of 30 minutes but I think that might put us at a bit of a disadvantage. Anyway, it's something to think about.
@trebor91 - You have joined PUMA but you say you are willing to leave and join Moo, how do we know you won't do the same to us? (This is not saying no to you. Even if you have a really crap answer, voting will decide whether you're on the team or not.)
EDIT: We're a month old on Thursday. We're nearly through the first month and we're still together, lets keep it that way!
I'm on Sky here and I've had no problems whatsoever. I'm getting about 6mpbs which is the maximum my line can hold while still being stable. I have never had the internet disconnect. Towards the end of the training period I got some time-outs from LFS and the internet occasionally went really slow but I've had no problems since.
I bet those people saying that real tracks aren't needed would love one to be put in. Driving any of the cars, especially one similar to your own, round a track that you could go and drive in real life would make this game even better. I know it isn't needed but you could say the same thing about fancy graphics which a lot of people still want.
Oh, and, I don't want the Nurburgring in LFS. I know it's like the most legendary track in the world but I don't really think it would fit in LFS with the small amount of players we have. It would also be absolutely rubbish for pick-up races. I mean, who wants to spend between 6 and about 20 minutes for 1 lap, especially when after the first few miles the grid will be spread out loads.
In summary, I would like at least 1 real track but not the Nurburgring, it would just go unused IMO.
If I knew anything about memory editing in VB then a slightly different version would already be out. I'm still waiting on people to answer about them coding it.
