Yes and I can't remember an endurance road race where the Safety Car has been used because just and only one of the cars had a simple puncture.
Even in F1, I remember Mansell, Senna and Schumacher who were able to join the pits on three wheels after losing one wheel, and there was no Safety Car at all, even in Monaco which is obviously not the widest track in the world.
It is safe. We did practice to drive with popped tyres, not our problem is the other teams didn't.
There is deffo something to be sorted out for the next season there.
The only difference is between a car which is still able to join the pits by its own and a car which is damaged enough or stuck anywhere so it may be a danger for the other ones.
Otherwise you can't call it a race.
Yep, and it's the responsibility of the driver who is having problems to stay out of the racing line, like people who are getting blue flag.
It's a race so there's something not clear there...
But I've already noticed the same behaviour during long races.
For instance, during the IGTC races the safety cars, which are the only cars staying on the track all race long for 4 hours with the same driver, have suddenly vanished from the progress window while the guys were obviously still on the server, what the LFSW 'Hosts and racers online' window was still showing right.
My team mate was practicing and he was on the server for quite a long time.
So I wonder if there is some kind of time limit, like two or three hours, and when it's reached the drivers are not displayed anymore for some reason.
We are actually two drivers on ConeDodgers 4. I don't know if it does matter or not but the server is actually set to private.
The LFSW 'Hosts and racers online' window is showing the two drivers but the LFSW progress window is showing only one.
I believe all medias, and especially tabloids, are the same: they just don't care about equality-sport-truth but they only want to sell papers as much as possible. It doesn't matter where they are from, all they have to do is to please their audience.
Tough and close match but it looks like both teams were quite stressed and lacked inspiration.
And Wilkinson saved England's day, as usual...
Anyway congratulations for the win and good luck for the final, although England will need more than luck only
