But I've already noticed the same behaviour during long races.
For instance, during the IGTC races the safety cars, which are the only cars staying on the track all race long for 4 hours with the same driver, have suddenly vanished from the progress window while the guys were obviously still on the server, what the LFSW 'Hosts and racers online' window was still showing right.
My team mate was practicing and he was on the server for quite a long time.
So I wonder if there is some kind of time limit, like two or three hours, and when it's reached the drivers are not displayed anymore for some reason.
We are actually two drivers on ConeDodgers 4. I don't know if it does matter or not but the server is actually set to private.
The LFSW 'Hosts and racers online' window is showing the two drivers but the LFSW progress window is showing only one.
I believe all medias, and especially tabloids, are the same: they just don't care about equality-sport-truth but they only want to sell papers as much as possible. It doesn't matter where they are from, all they have to do is to please their audience.
Tough and close match but it looks like both teams were quite stressed and lacked inspiration.
And Wilkinson saved England's day, as usual...
Anyway congratulations for the win and good luck for the final, although England will need more than luck only
All in all that's good news, at least I'll keep on sleeping on Sunday morning instead of waking up early for watching at a stupid / boring / useless so called 'race'.
I think I have enough of F1 as it is nowadays.
Let's put the drivers names into a hat and let the hazard to decide who gonna win the championship. Even better than seeing people overtaking in the pits only...
Lapper is running on all of our servers but LuaFS is running on 2/4 of our servers and not on CD1 which is the most populated server.
We could feel the jerkiness on CD1 anyway and also on CD3 where LuaFS is not running.
And yes, both are running locally on the host server.
Yep I can confirm that as I did feel it myself and like Birder said it has also been reported by several regular drivers of our servers who are from different locations/countries.
It was not really 'laggy' but 'jerky' and everything went back to normal for everyone as soon as we have disabled the relay.
I got 35-45 ms pings to the Master Server and to our LFS servers.
LFS usernames with the german umlaut ü are truncated in the progress window although they are displayed fine in the host window.
See attachements.
I've noticed that for the ü only but maybe it doesn't work either for other accentuated characters and/or for other special characters like the scandinavian ǿ or the latin ç ?
