My girlfriend said she supports my interests and supports me being involved in them. I haven't driven a lap in months, and I haven't done a damn thing on my portfolio since before father's day. Last year. Despite the fact that she keeps saying that we need to stop spending all our time together, she keeps getting me to do things with her every night.
Does your girlfriend have any of her own hobbies, completely separate from you? (shopping doesn't count, now that you live together you will be forced to do it with her) If she doesn't, you no longer do either.
I think those colours are fine; they're different from the usual 'pop' that custom race schemes tend to have so it's a little more unique in that way. The design itself is very lambo; almost fractal in nature it really speaks to their current design language (Reventon, Aventador, Sesto Elemento).
I haven't watched any Indycar races yet this season, but from what I hear th new cars are a return to proper, classic racing. More difficult to drive, technology battles (engines) and in time, team-designed aero kits. I think they're on to something here, it could be great. It could make Indycar racing exciting again (and I don't just mean on a race-by-race or season-by-season basis, I mean long-term).
I read a bunch of stuff that said it would have essentially zero impact on the danger. The chainlink won't support much, so you'd still wind up hitting the pole itself anyways, for all intents and purposes (you'd just sandwich the tiny chainlink fence between your head and the pole). The poles would have to be moved a couple feet back from the chainlink fencing to avoid bearing the brunt of an impact like that. Of course, it becomes MUCH more difficult to properly support the chainlink fence with a cantilever system, so that probably won't happen anytime soon, either.
I don't think there's anything wrong with exploding on reporters. Adds some life to the sport; racing needs some of that 'rock star' personality in it again.
That being said, I just don't like the Buschs. Not because they're bad tempered, but more just because they're scrawny little guys with severe over-compensation issues and massive egos. There's some people that you just don't like.
Ugh, I was kind of excited until I saw this video. The "yoof culture" and dubstep totally ruined it for me. If any of that crap is forced on the player I will not be getting this. If there's one thing I hate, it's that bullshit youth culture crap. I don't want to attend some virtual club party festival with annoying DJs and stuff, I want to drive some cars.
If this is any good it'll probably get me to spring for a 360 and FM4 to go along with it. Eventually. Need the money for that Fanatec wheel first...
When I saw the title I wasn't phased, but when I saw a few of those selections I got very excited. GT40, Capri, Sierra Cosworth, '97 T-A Mustang, BTCC spec Focus... tasty.
I always wore a bandana over my face when I played. Kept the paint out of my mouth and helped keep my breath from fogging up the mask, too.
I used to play quite a bit with some old friends. We usually opted to go to the woods instead of established courses because the places in the Toronto area are all crap. Was fun when I was young... now at the ripe old age of 25 I'm too old and broken for fun.
You should see the commercials that ran in Canada after Vancouver got knocked out of the playoffs this year; making fun of Vancouver and telling them not to riot again. Good stuff
