Another bigger oval would be cool. IIRC, the Kyoto Oval is really short and has a certain shape. Another oval like Indianapolis (wider corners, wider track, longer straights) would be awesome.
Save your cash, and try to update to a newer platform. It isn't worth to buy an AGP card nowadays. In the long term, it will be better to save and do a whole upgrade.
Yeah. Webber will probably be heading to Renault (filling the spot of Alonso next to Fisichella) or Red Bull Racing, since they'll probably be getting Renault engines next year. Remember that Flavio Briatore is Webber's manager... and that guy sure knows how to do a good deal!
I wouldn't call that kicking out, though. More like letting go.
It wouldn't add much challenge to the track. And if anything, that chicane adds some overtaking chances on the big turn after.
It COULD be an Historic layout, but then you'd have to add/remove something else too. And the Blackwood enviroment looks pretty tight already... doesn't look too modeable to me. See how's even some buildings near the track?
As with most Inferno setups, what I do is stiffen the front antiroll bar a bit, increase tire pressures and reduce the camber.
A stiffer front ARB will give you a tad more understeer, which will make the car feel more solid. Same about the camber. Plus, the Inferno setups are with world records in mind. You don't want that kind of setup in a league, they will butcher your tires.
All good so far on the patch for me. The frame rate is the same, but then my PC is very GPU-bottlenecked so I wouldn't expect something else.
I do have a little idea for a future patch: Enabling a rename the paint-skin schemes? Since we can rename the setups now... I'm missing a 'rename' button on the left side of the Garage screen.
Thanks for your work, Scawen! You kick unprecedented amounts of ass.
Mid-engine: The engine is between the driver and the rear wheels. Example: Acura NSX, F1, RAC car of LFS. Very responsive, balanced handling.
Rear-engine: The engine is outside of the wheelbase. The Ferrari/Porsche hybrid in LFS and it's GT version have a RR (rear-wheel, rear-drive) layout, and some Porsches are like this too. They benefit of having crazy acceleration (since a lot of weight is ON the drive wheels) but they also suffer of the evil, feared 'snap' oversteer. You think you have the car in control on a fast turn, and suddently the rear skids off! The weight of the engine induces this behavior.
I do believe, however, that usually the guy on pole at BL GTi has little to lose... but the guy who starts 2nd is a sitting duck at T1. I always overtake those by the outside...
Becky... do yourself a favor and leave this discussion.
I'm on your side on this one. But you won't win a thing by keep discussing. It's a I'M RIGHT vs. NO I'M RIGHT game here. Let the mods handle the case, and keep recolecting replays... just in case.
So, because you wouldn't complain and someone else does, that person is an idiot, crybaby, whiner, etc?
A bit egoistic if you ask me. If you don't take seriously (good for you!) what happens inside a server... well that's your way to go. But don't expect others to be the same... most of all if the 'other' belongs to the opposite sex!
Yeah... the Kyoto GP has some sections that are very very similar and others just identical to the layout of the Suzuka Circuit, which currently hosts the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix. Check this video of Ayrton Senna doing a qualy lap in it... can you spot the similarities?
Because the guy isn't just harassing her on the chat, he's following her on the track, and ramming her off at times. Certainly no LOOK AT ME attitude here.
"Sometimes it would pull alongside and we'd crash, sometimes it would pass and then slow up"...
