Watched the movie and it was really good. At times it looked like a real race in TV :O

for some reason i can't watch it smoothly ... maybe my connection sux it play nicely, but then the video freezes but the audio goes on :d ...weird, isn't it ?

Will the whole stream be availalbe to download after the finals ? I won't be @home but I would like to watch it . Is there a way to record streamed video ?

So, lets criticise
I really loved the first 40 seconds of the vid, and i was amazed by that camera movement at the BL hairpin ( i dunno why, but i was really like :O )
Then came the b&w part , which was good also, but for some reason i didn't like the autocross part ... for me it just didn't fit in :o
The last part of the movie was the "NOS boost!!11 blurred part"
I think it looked good for a short period of time, but i think the you put there too much of those speeded up parts . Imho it would be better if you'd put there parts like this > "fast|normal|fast|normal etc".
So these are my opinions about your video. The overall feeling was very good tho' , so i'd gave this video a 8,5/10 . Keep them coming !!!11 ^^

Really sad to hear ... who's going to rate our movies ? I must confess that I was always looking at your opinions about movies and it felt damn good that You liked mine ... hope You'll get back to LFS someday !

I think we do not need to pay for a real track as we WILL get to a point when track owners would pay the devs to see their tracks in LFS , or at least give the licence for free.

So i got the movie down finally (dialup powaaa ^^) . It is excelling on the technical side - the effects look wonderful, i can't imagine how long it takes to render such effects ó_ô - but lacks some deeper "story" . It reminds me of Far Cry ->amazing graphics but the story was nothing compared to Half Life 2 for example. If the movie had more action or some impossible moves then I would had given it 10/10, but for now a 6/10 from me.

I'm downloading a 160 MB one (1080i) , already got 10 MBs down and tried to play it with VLC player, but i can only hear the sound, and see some text :/ (don't get me wrong, i know that there should be some other things not only just the text, because i opened the file in vegas, and a saw a car in there )It seems that I can only dream about watching (!!!) HD on my PC :|

Hi all!
I have a small request to those who have DualCore CPU and own Fraps. I saw on www.fraps.com that in the new version they had "Added full-size video capture up to 2560x1600 for dual core CPUs" . I can't even imagine how could LFS look like @ such big resolution :| so, anybody interested in making only a few sec's long movie (high detail settings with AA&AF) just to show what LFS looks like at such a high resolution ( I would be glad to even see a 1080p version :] ).

I was thinking a lot about my english (mainly because i saw this thread recently, i was planning to post there some clever words, but this topic is fresh so I'll post here :d ) and i've come to the conclusion that i can't judge how good my english realy is, because i can't say it impartially. Only the people who can speak with me (or read my posts) could tell how good my english realy is , imho. 'Hope i expressed myself correctly

Same thing happens with me, but not with my mother language. I live in slovakia, and the strange thing is, that i use english more than slovak language :| because of this iam forgeting words, and i find it hard to speak fluently slovak ... iam starting to speak english better ( or at least more fluently ) than slovak language. And thats something :O
I have learned english for 6-7 years (in school) . But I think I've imporved a lot since I'm visiting this forum, so THANK YOU all =] (also computer games have been a great help for me ... at least the thousands of hours wasted in front of the monitor had some good effect on me )
