Doesn't it work the same way as LFS tweak ? Like, one creates a server with a certain wheel set and people using the same wheels can join the server ? ( i can't try it out as nobody can connect to servers created by me )

Thank you for the comment ! I made it up really quick as I just wanted to see how the codec works/looks but i will certainly do a longer one with more action and some different cameras
And the sound ... are you prepared ? ... IT IS LFS ITSELF ! :O I'm using DaveWS's sound pack, and it really rocks - Thank YOU DaveWS ! - . In the video it sound a little more aggressive, but it's not so aggressive in the game. Fraps records the sound from LFS very strangely :S

Nice action-full video ! You can turn off the chatting in replay's by editing the cfg.txt file in your LFS directory . "MPR Message Block 0" <- set 0 to 1 =]

I made a quick onboard video ,too. I also used the raw file to do some codec comparison, so I encoded one using the x264 codec and the other using the XviD codec. I didn't manage to get the XviD version uploaded till now but i hope i'll be able to upload it today Until then, here is the x264 version -> http://xps2100.extra.hu/x264%202pass.avi
The video is 1:45 long and 20 MB big (608*260 @ 25 FPS) the footage is from a BLGP/XFR race which took place just a few days ago (Thanks for the guys seen in the video! )

Great idea, I am really interested in this 'cause I know my English could use some polishing :P ( especially now as i am going to some kind of " English olympics " )
So ... what should I write here. A month ago I finally got rid of my Dial-up connection, which I used for about 6 years . The bad thing is, that as I live in a small village , the choice of net providers is very small ( 2 ) , so we choose the cheaper one. As far as i know it is some kind of microwave connection ... it could be described like this : when it works, it works perfectly, but God when it stops working . You can't imagine the amount of packet loss I am having ( from 13-20% !!! ) . I was so excited about the high speed when I am downloading something, but I rarely can finish a race in LFS ! Now I'm upset , as the only reason I wanted faster internet was LFS. This damn microwave sh*t is only good for downloading . The strange thing is that other games such as Call of Duty, Counter Strike 1.6 (or Source), Soldat , SWAT 4 work great. Every other game works fine just LFS doesn't ( and warcraft 3 is struggling too.)

I think Ant said it all right, we don't have a great variety of combos which are almost full of racers at the peak times ... And the second wrong thing is that S2 players don't play LFS so much as demo racers Yesterday there were more than 1200 ppl online, but only 400-500 S2 licenced We need some new ideas or something to attract people to race different combos, not only Aston with teh GTRz ! For example new STCC servers with different cars and tracks than now
