BL highway texture replacement
Today, I was a little bored, so I decided to test my Photoshop skillz
I went to my dds folder, and looked through the LFS textures, and found one, which even I could modify So, after completing it (took me about 1,5 hour [i did everything from a scratch ! + iam a photoshop noobie ] ) I thought I will post it here, so I can get some feedback !
You can see what I modified on the preview pic (1st part is the original texture, and the 2nd is what I present here)

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away ...
I firs tried out the S1 demo, which was on a CD of a PC magazine (either Score or Level /Czeh pc magazines) , but back than i had an AMD K6-2 500 MHz with an old Riva TNT , so LFS didn't look good on it
I didn't like the way it was controlled, it was way too real for me , as until than I only saw NFS like games . Deleted the game, went back to play small oldie games, which ran quite good on my ol' rusty PC ( X-COM FTW !! )
In August 2004 I finally got my new PC ( but it was the last day of august, just imagine how hard it was for me to go next day to school ) . In september i moved to college so I played only at weekends when I was home.
In November I moved back home, as I didn't like the college, so i decided to travel every day 2 hours to school by bus (1there,1home :P ). It was a lot better for me, because at least I could play 1-2 hours every day.
One day I found a german PC mag in the newspaper store and because it was very cheap and had a DVD enclosed, i bought it (i cannot speak German ). When I tried the DVD at home, and looked through the demo section, i found LFS. "Hmm, how could it look on my new hardware ? " I thought, and installed it. It looked a much better, and I found out that it could be controlled by mouse :O (never saw such a thing ) . But after a short while my enthusiasm fell :P as I was too noobish for the game. But than something happend, i found that little button named MULTIPLAYER . "... with my Dial up connection :S ... hell, lets try it " So i went online, downloaded patch H and connected to a server. "WOW, it works!!!" It was my first online experience, and oh God, it was so great ! I even met hungarian player, and they helped me , and since than we are friends ( some of them are even my team mates ^^ ) .
So thats how I discovered lfs

Not a bad suggestion, but You could just find the last obsolete replay in the Replay screen, remember it's name, than quit to windows, go to the data/mpr folder, arrange files by date of last modification, and then move the files older than the replay U remembered :P

U already can sort the replays by name or date, so finding the recent race is not a problem ^^ . But when You have a pile of replays and You want to chose from them , than it is hard to guess wich one You need (mainly because if you click one, LFS starts to load the track -_- )

A few suggestions to make life easier :)
So, lets get to the point
1. Sometimes I find it very hard to see through my replays. That is mosty because I name them like "asd,roflmao,omgcrash" and so (99% because i realize that i need to save the replay only when a big text appears on my screen > Restart : 3 ... ) . But even if I name them correctly i just can't remember where that race took place, and who was there . So what i suggest can be seen on the attached picture.
2. When i want to make an LFS movie, it is really hard to do what i imagine in my mind . I would really love to see a lot more options, so you can do anything with the camera(s) [that (s) is there because i would like to see also PIP ! Placing a few custom cameras and then view them all in one time on one screen :P ] . Things like centered movement of the camera pointing to one car ( remember Matrix 1 , when Trinity makes a kick in the air, time slows down and the camera goes 360° ), option to attach the camera to certain parts of the car (well mostly to the steering wheel, so when the driver steers, the camera rolls :P ) , "virtual flight thingy" (people with joysticks could fly with the camera, making it easier to roll/tilt it) , and the last thing (as i can't remember anything else ) would be the shaking of the camera, when a car passes by it at high speed .
3. A very simple yet very needed thing ... password manager !!! It is just simply annoying, when you have to remember 10+ passwords, and type them in each time you wanna go to a private server :/
Well, thats all for now, but i'll post here if anything else comes to my mind

Mouse can be really competitive TBH, iam using an MX518 mouse, and with a good setup and some practice u can really take up the pace ^_^

LFS need a 100% bulletproof protection system, because if more cheaters/hackers come, they will ruin the game Just look what hackers made to the game MU Online :/

Iam still using mouse when racing with the demo cars, or with slower ones, but when it comes to a league race with the GTRs or open wheelers, than i mount my MOMO
I think that we need to respect each other. No need to like somebody you don't want to like, but there has to be respect. A long time ago most of the people respected each other, even enemies, but now, times are changing ... or maybe it is too late and iam pessimistic again (hope i wrote it right :o )
