This is pretty accurate of low level/beginning gameplay. The claims of Dark Souls difficulty levels aren't completely unfounded.
Managed to solo a +2 catacomb today for the first time, ran out of potions just as I killed the main quest boss... never ever have I butt clenched so hard.
The developer has said he was heavily influenced by Minecraft (duh) but the gameplay actually has no mining as the only way to shape the world is by using bombs, it's more of an RPG game set in a blocky world.
That's not true. I'm not sure about the R35, but Attesa is very well documented throughout R32-R34 Skylines, and the basic principle is still the same even with R35. Service manuals are full of details:
Enthusia is (so far) the only game that properly simulates the Attesa drivetrain. It's a complete joke in GT, it feels pretty much like constant 4WD with way too much understeer than it should have.
I got a refund, and that doesn't mean I'm going to stop following how this game develops behind the curtain. If by some strange way they manage get decent physics in, I'll buy the retail version at full price. Now calm your tits.
So if I was correct, why are you jumping on my ass? illepall
Played through all the content in the demo with gamepad and T500/TH8. Physics have improved, bodyroll and car behaviour in weight transfer in general is much more realistic now, it actually feels and looks pretty spot on at times.
Very low speed LSD behaviour is just as bad as it was in GT5 and full manual shifting with clutch still requires brain surgeon like precision for the gears to engage. Force feedback is also still lacking finesse and it still shares the numb overall feel of the GT5 FFB.
GT6 should be a decent improvement over GT5 overall, nothing revolutionary.
Edit: The AI is now extremely skilled at avoiding static objects! Made a video.
Yeah, they're non-issues. I'm going to get the DS wheel adapter and mount a real Nardi on the T500 anyway as it has the power to drive one, no more rubber.
21:9 support in games is still in infancy though, lots of stretched GUI textures etc. They're not exactly the best screens for triple screen use for obvious reasons either.
I wouldn't personally bother with TVs for serious gaming. The problem with huge TVs in the 50"+ range is the dreadful PPI density, as they're still the same old 1080p rubbish. You'd have to place the screens so far back that the benefits from the huge size wouldn't really matter compared to sharper, smaller screens which are also useful for desktop work. Sitting 1.5 meters from a 1080p 60" looks like shit.
3x30" 2560x1600 is what I'd aim to do, if I'd have 4000€ laying around. Or just wait a year and buy the Oculus Rift for a fraction of the cost.
Got a 42" Samsung LED smart TV today for consoles/twitch streams. Didn't think I'd need all the internet features that TV's have these days, but it's actually quite brilliant to be able to stream media straight from PC to TV through home network, impressive progress from "dumb" tellys.
Get it, seriously! I'll never forget the first playthrough that I just completed, experienced happiness, sadness, camaraderie and pure joy in short amount of time. Such a damn pretty game too, it proves that you don't need massive billion dollar budgets to make nice graphics.
Also love the way how you have no idea who you're sharing the adventure with, until you get to the end and the game tells you who you met along the way.
