Hehe, sure could be..depending on the exact shape, angle of hand etc, lol
It is a very complicated series of laws to explain easily and I thought that might fit, the point being the air on the racing wing is most certainly pulling down not pushing down.
Aerodynamics are well understood, wings especially and certainly not a black art in automotive racing terms.
Incorrect. If you hold you hand out of the window of a car, angled upwards front to back like the rear wing of a formula single seater, it is not the air pushing your hand down.
The air underneath your hand travels faster than the air above your hand, pulling your hand down. When you increase the steepness of your rear wing the distance the air has to travel underneath increases and this gains more downforce, or negative lift.

We have a couple of team members yet to enter here on the forum who will be along shortly inc ZSMY to fill in rest of his details.
Players is not a member of team FRO (although is welcome, hope he knows that :nod
Players is entering the LFSCART series as well as the Kyoto500. LFS CART rule book, says..no number #1 in the first year of series.
Personally i agree with that rule, no #1 until end of year.
FRO | LFSCART server is now live and will be running LFSCART series road course tracks alternating through to 1 week prior to each event when it will be solely set for practise for each event.
TFalke55, JO53PHS & J@tko - I will get admin details to you later today for this server, so you can admin sessions when around.
Yes well under 38, well done.
Don't forget, Sunday afternoons on the FRO Oval server, practise with rolling starts, 25 plus laps races with pit stops under LFSCART rules.
I put provisional by it just in case you did not get me when chatting on the FRO server. Gets a bit hectic in there sometimes.
Server sign up's will always be listed as provisional until registered or confirmed with FALKE the series organiser, here or in person with him on one of the servers.
Excellent to see you confirmed your entry, it has all the makings of a really great race series!
See you soon, hopefully on Sunday next when we will have some practise 25minute races with qualifying and a rolling start with compulsory pit stop running from 6pm - 8pm GMT on the Formula Racing Oval server.
FRO #2 server will be public from tomorrow running LFSCART/FO8 on the series road courses.
We can volunteer a reserve safety car driver for you, if needed from the FRO Admins for rounds your competing in.
Back up experienced admins if needed from our crew are available to help at anytime.
A pleasure, again thanks for the organisation and we will do what we can to support your effort.
FRO will have another dedicated S2 server live in a couple days which will be set to F08 and the 'LFSCART' road courses and rules for series practise, I will pm you the passwords so you can admin the server and/or sessions when your around Tfalke.
Bad idea. Most of the Kart tracks here in PT are empty, not doing that well at all. Our local mega facility barely has anyone on there ever, ive been a few times and never encountered anyone else on the circuit.
Only comment on BL1GP Track for F08 is there is not many passing places in longer races. Westhill a great open track with many passing opportunities. Maybe a consideration in longer races that can be running under whole course yellows, but of course makes it also a severe test.
Sure, go ahead. Consider it done
Server is 47 slot, 32 grid server by Storm and yes you are welcome to it for the series dates.
We where thinking of something similar, as a series as the F08 makes for a very good 'cart' type car.
Rule book is a great effort.
Sure we FRO would like to join your series and entries from Me, Maissi, Brit_ORC, Hatboy, Mac and Felix are for sure.
So now as organiser you got a dedicated 'LFSCART' server, 6 entries and a sponsor, Lets Race!
