Any "old timers" that claim to have left will almost certainly be back once they receive their email an update patch or S3 is available. I'd put 1p on it!!

Just out of intereset, and slightly O/T are you still having a go with NKPRO? The reason for my question is that i'm happy to bounce between the both of these sims. LFS does alot that NKPRO doesn't. However, there is a bit of NKPRO that I like more than LFS.

Please forgive my ignorance. However, is it possible to set up a private multiplayer server on the same pc that you wish to play on? (Eg like LFS)
I tried the other night but when i connected to my own host NKP crashed.

The sound of the Abarth when its been thrashed to bits is excellent, especially downshifting a touch too early!! I'm using the g25 shifter so blipping whilst downshifting sounds cool.

I've got an auto Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0l with an lpg conversion and regularly tow a 1.5t caravan. Its the best thing i ever bought!! You cant beat a torque converter when pulling off from an uphill junction.

Its gone awfully quiet around here..............?

The corkscrew is a nightmare if you are slightly off line, the car ends up jumping around and shooting off in the wrong direction......fun though!!!
Moose are there a couple of dodgy upshifts from 3rd to 4th in there? I think i'm roughly 1 sec behind your time so far, only using a default setting ATM so probably could go quicker. My biggest problem is shifting down too quickly into 2nd and locking up. May go and try the ff1800 for a laugh.........

Just a small bump....
Seeing as RSC is still down, I was wondering if there were any beta testers here (The Moose) had any news regards development? Don't get me wrong, i'm having a blast trying to master those pesky FF's so i'm by no means bored.....just interested!

On a happy note.....
I've just bought the game from playing the demo, just spent the last couple of minutes downloading all the extra tracks!! Even tried, really badly, going around Monaco in the FF1800 heheheheh. Just need to concentrate on 1 track and venture online.

4up mario kart on the Wii is the best, just bought shaun white snowboarding and thats mad using the balance board

I haven't bought this game, yet, however, it took me about 5 -10mins of playing with the ff1600 to realise that you didn't need the cockpit display to be able to drive properly. Its only got 4 gears, so not to difficult to remember which gear you were in, and the engine sound gave enough info to know when to change gear. Run the demo again with an open mind and the ff1600 becomes quite enjoyable to have a blast around in.

How will the mulitplayer side of this work?
Eg will it be like LFS where there is a main server which means we can create our own races, or do we have to buy / lease a server to host races?
