Fiddle with your Reference Levels in your Xbox 360 Settings. [Console Settings-Display-Reference Levels]. I've put it on the middle option for now, and it is much better. The colours are alot deeper, and i can finally see corners on tracks (like New York) instead of just a shadow. I will try the other options later tonight.

Is it true the FM3 hopper system has been updated? I've heard there's Tag available in public servers now.

I have no idea what scenarios are common, as i don't look at other peoples pictures too much.

That track is the demo track though, hence why it is shown around alot.

Thankfully, the rain held off all night and the couple of feet at water at the bottom of the lane has now gone. I was quite surprised it all went overnight, so i guess the drains must of done the work.

I drove back down to the end of the lane 10 minutes ago, and the water is still too high to drive through but it's a little shallower. I hope it goes by tomorow morning. I need to work.

I don't think i could bring myself to not clean my computer for 6 years!

I remember forgetting to clean mine for about 6 months, and the ammount of dust in there after such a short time was incredible (although we do have 3 dogs, so that would of contributed i guess). The gap between the fan and CPU heatsink was covered in a thick layer of crap. So much so that i couldn't even see the heatsink through the fan.

Flooded out here in Redditch. I got in the car to goto work this morning, and the lane going out onto the main road has about 3 feet of water at the bottom of it, to which the lane rises a little and i can see the main road is in about a foot of water which most people are piling through.

My dad lives on the same lane as me (who i work for) so neither of us can get to work atm, and it looks like we won't be able to for a while as it is still raining fairly hard. I shall drive back down there at lunch and see how it is.

Luckily, my house is on a fairly steep hill so i doubt it will get flooded. The worst i have ever got it was a couple of inches in the Garden.

Exactly, your watching videos of game play on a monitor, which is then most likely being recorded with a video camera. Quite different from playing it on a TV. I remember seeing videos of GT:HD and GT5:P on sites and thinking the edges were smooth. Imagine my disappointment when coming to play the game.

And the reason i think Yamauchi talks crap most the time, is because he really does. Case in point is him saying the weather system is done yet there is no proof. I also believe that at one point, he (or it may have been a 3rd party company, to which i apologize) said that any car can have any engine swap, yet there is no proof for this either.

I do agree with you on Greenwalt about him talking crap too though. "first simulation with tyre flex". Ehhmmm, no.

If GT5 gets good enough reviews, then i will quite happily buy a PS3 again and get GT5. All depends on how much the physics, sounds and graphics have been updated.

If your happy with the graphics in Prologue then thats fine. As for me though, i prefer to have some anti aliasing and spectators not standing upright at 50 degree angles.

I really don't see why you have to keep on bringing FM3 into the discussion though. I have not once brought FM3 into it when discussing the infinity drift car.

You may think it looks super high attention to detail and all that malarky, but i don't, and thats my opinion. If you like the cars to have visible texture joins and lighting errors on your car, then thats fine, i will not try to persuade you otherwise. And yes, you will notice errors like that when playing the game on anything more than a 32 inch television.

Don't get your hopes up too high though. The pictures and videos shown of GT5 are known to be fettled with, as were FM3's, so it won't look exactly like that when you come to play it.

Have a play with the Axi settings in controller setup, and make sure your controller sensitivity is on max on the general xbox settings (accessed from the guide).

No. Even the cars fitted with an auto transmission in real (VW Tourag for example) still shift like a manual. It's not the biggest problem in the world, but i was a little disheartened to find out they don't shift like a proper auto.

Even though it didn't act like a proper auto in the game, i used to love drifting the Jaguar S-Type Automatic round Tsukuba wet In GT4. Awesome fun!

Attention to detail is nothing if you do not have proper textures and lighting to go with it. The carbon texture is distorted and low res, and for some reason you can see right back into the bumper, which isn't right even though the light is shining from the front.

Too late for it now. I just formatted my old drive and got the new'un. I would of spoken to xbox support, but i was stuck on hold for 35 minutes and was fed up, so went straight to game and got it swapped. Shall not be using them again though.
