Interesting. The RAC and FZR were in there too.

I have no idea whether it is allowed though. Maybe you should e-mail that link with a description to the Developers?

EDIT: Whoever is taking these models must be a regular on the Forums, because I just came across the special RAC GTR that Orion made a couple of years ago, and I'm pretty sure he only uploaded it here for other people to Render. Having a think about this though, I'm pretty sure there's nothing the LFS Devs could do about this unless the people who took the models are making a profit from it, I think? Not really brushed up with this kinda stuff.

Quote from Klutch :Infected Mushroom - Muse Breaks

Not too bad. Kind of enjoyed that actually.

I'm currently in a chilled out mode, so started playing this from Faithlesses newish album, "The Dance". I played this whole album in my car a while back, and I kid you not, I felt so relaxed during that long drive down to the coast and it made it so enjoyable. This is my favorite from his album, as I feel like I can relate to the lyrics. Grab a drink, sit back and relax.

Any pictures?

Does everything work? What is the maximum rotation of the Wheel? (Sorry. I know nothing about ACT Lab) Could I use my G25 shifter with this?

Finally, can it wait until Sunday/Monday?

Sorry for all the questions.

It's hard to diagnose a car over the Interwebs, but I shall try to give some advice that will hopefully be of some help.

Right, the first thing I would do is take off the HT Leads, and have a look at the Spark Plugs. Take them out, and have a look to see what colour they are, be it black or miscoloured. If need be, replace them before you have the service and just tell the garage not to replace them when it goes in. PLEASE NOTE though. If the old spark plugs are fine and you want to put them back in, DO NOT put too much force on the wrench. Just do them up firmly. When fitting new ones, keep turning them until you feel the washer press together with the cylinder head, then give them another 1/4 of a turn.

If the spark plugs turn out fine, then the next thing I would check is the Ignition Leads and Distributor. Quite simple. For the HT leads, look at either end and along the leads for any cracks or splits. Pay special attention to the inside of the ends as they may of broken away. For the distributor, unscrew it (take note of the HT Lead order first!) and look inside it for cracks, and check the contacts for any dirt or corrosion.

The only other thing I could suggest you check yourself would be the Vacuum pipes on the Air Intake Manifold, Throttle Body etc, but these usually cause the whole Engine to run lean, and not one cylinder to misfire. Worth a try I suppose?

Apart from that, you would need Garage equipment to check other things that could be causing the misfire. It could be anything, from Injectors, to fuel lines (You could inspect these yourself, but it would be pointless as you won't be able to tell much) and many other things. I would suggest just trying as many of the things you can think of.

Oh! I forgot to ask. Is the Engine smoking at all? Also, is there any white, mayonnaise type "goo" in the Header tank? If the car is puffing white smoke, this is either a sign of Headgasket failure, or moisture in the exhaust due to the car being stood a long time. Blue smoke is petrol, and black is oil.

@ Hummer. It uses Leads.

ANYWAY....

I had 2 funny moments today in the Demo. My first one was I was blowing up a load of cars (BTW, don't do it to convertibles...The occupants turn into burnt corpses!) and a cop came over to investigate, so I hid my weapon. He stood next to me, scratched his head, then said "Hey buddy. You got any idea what the **** has gone on here?". I ROFL'ed.

The other one was a really weird glitch. I went to the garage to modify my car. The usual thing happened, beep your horn, then it cuts to a scene of the car pulling in etc. Only, when I selected Paintjob, the mechanic walked over to do that paint spraying animation thing, he touched my car and for some reason, this slammed the car into the wall knocking it off the ramp. So, I cancel everything and my player tries to drive out but now cant because of a wall being behind him. After about 20 seconds of trying to back up, the car starts clipping through the wall, then it flings me off outside the garage and I die....Probably the strangest glitch I have seen in the demo so far, but humorous none the less.

First of all, sorry to hear about your Grandmother. But, one of the reasons for the dream could of been your mind doing it for you. The mind is a very powerful thing, and some people do not realize just what it can do. Perhaps that due to your Grandmother passing away that day, and then you constantly thinking about her death over that day (like everyone would) has lead to have having that dream. The best way to explain it is like so...

Lets just say, that your mind is a computer. I'm sure you've heard of De-Fragmenting a computers Hard Drive, and that we occasionally have to do it to our computers, right? Well, the same applys to your mind. When you dream, it's your minds way of De-Fragmentating all your thoughts you have had lately. It filters through them and disperses others that aren't important like your minds memory of doing the dishes yesterday for example. Have you ever noticed how something that you may of been thinking of for the whole day, happens in your dreams? Well, maybe that's why you had the dream about your Grandmother. I've had the same thing happen to me before. Try this next time you go to sleep. About an hour before, think of something specific, like a car, or a person. Sometimes it will work, but it can happen in your dream. I've tried it before and like I said, sometimes it will work and others it will not, but it's still awesome being able to think of a dream, and it then happening.

Either way, I'm not trying to dissuade you from thinking it was God. If that's what you believe then that's great! I'm just saying how I see it.

Quote from zeugnimod :But that's what it is.

It should be voluntary, IMO. Fine if you like it but I don't want to be forced to sit through 100 minutes or more of it per week.

Well, I suppose that is your opinion and your entitled to it.

As for the voluntary comment...With the way younger kids are now, once one kid chooses not to do R.E if it ever became voluntary, then everyone would do the same for other lessons. Soon enough, you would have kids everywhere saying they don't want to do P.E, or Maths. I didn't want to do French or Spanish because I found it boring. I still done it though.

Quote from DevilDare :I actually enjoyed my R.E. lessons. Well, the last year of it was good.

Gays brought up a raging discussion I remember. One of the best lessons I ever had.

Funny, but Gays also brought up a terrible argument every time they were mentioned in my School. There was one gay guy in my R.E class every week, and he would naturally defend himself when people would make jokes or call him names. I just found it Amazing how people could be so negative about something so trivial. To me, I just see it as nothing other than normal. They obviously find more comfort in Men then Women, so why not just leave them to it?

Quote from wsinda :Would Josef Mengele be a valid counterexample?

I did not know who he was, so I've just finished reading the Wiki Article online, and it's certainly interesting. I can't quite see what you mean by counter example though. I'm pretty sure that most of the people he murdered would of been innocent honest people, just like almost everyone else taken to Nazi Camps during that time.

I agree with you Jibber. Mafia II has a fantastic atmosphere, but I prefer GTA IV's personally. The Player and Driving Physics are much better in GTA IV which is probably why I think it seems to have a much more refined feel than Mafia II.

Either way, I will definitely be getting it for my Xbox 360 when it gets released. I have been suffering no frame drops like said in here though? The game has been running very smoothly with no issues, and the graphics are lovely!

Oh, and a little tip for some fun in the demo. Find one of those old Corvette C1 lookalike cars rolling around in the demo. Steal it, and take it to the car shop near the bottom of the map and modify the engine fully. When the car backs out, go towards the end of the road to your left. Then, turnaround and floor it trying to keep the car in the middle of the road. Keep going, and eventually, you will see a huge ramp at the end of the road. You can get lots of air off it.

I agree that that all religions (or at least more) should be taught in Schools nowadays. Back when I was in School, I loved R.E (Religious Education) and even though I had no interest in joining any of the Religions, I was truly fascinated by some of them and there rituals. It's just a shame that the amount that we got taught was not a lot, and that pretty much every kid in my class apart from a hand full, thought R.E was stupid and pointless.

I really do love learning about religions though. I have a Jewish friend, and I love it when he tells me about Jewish stories from the past and there rituals. Thankfully, he does not force his views upon other people, and knows that I'm an atheist and is also fascinated by my views on why I think a God does not exist. As said above, the people who try to force there views upon you are extremely annoying and do nothing to change your mind. Instead, they put a negative image upon themselves, which then results in there whole Religion being tarred with the same brush in most cases.

I remember walking through a little fairground setup in my local town for a few days, and there were a whole bunch of Scientologists (sp?) there telling people there views. At first, I didn't have a problem with this until one of them seemed to take offense to me saying no. He tried to shove a load of leaflets and what not in my face, so I gave him a gentle smile and said "No thank you." and he went off like a bomb! He started following me and my girlfriend, cursing at us both saying "You will regret the day you turned your back on Scientology!". I thought it was appalling behavior to be honest, and all he succeeded in doing was making his religion look bad.

Think I might go for it.

I looked at some side by side specs, and the Zi8 trounces the Flipcam in almost every aspect. The only thing it lacked was poor in-built memory (A SD card would need to be bought, but you can get them for peanuts) and the in-built mic is pretty poor too, but again, this can be rectified by buying an external mic and plugging it straight into the jack.

Not impressed here. I tested the Boxster rip off around both the Circuit and the Off-Road track for around 2 hours in total after spending an hour setting up my wheel accurately for a fair test. Wheel setup was fairly easy. It only took me so long as the FFB was tricky for me to get the correct "feel" from. The demo is also very restricted, maybe too restricted.

On the circuit, the steering felt lifeless and offered little in the way of feel or resistance. I also noticed that when going around fast bends, the car felt as if its rear suspension magically disappeared, as the rear end just seemed to hunker down and toss the car into a crazy slide. The tyres also seemed to have little grip and tended to therefore lose grip very easily.

I then took the same car off road, and yet again, was disappointed. The car slid about very easily, as was to be expected, but opposite to drive on the track, it was incredibly easy to save stupidly high angle spins. I could literally put the car into a slide at more than 90 degrees, and save it quite easily. I then put the hammer down and done some jumps, and quite humorously, the car seemed to have almost no weight what so ever. Once in the air, it seemed to just fly for a much longer time then necessary...

As for the Graphics and Sounds, there pretty cartoonish. The car and track modeling is pretty basic and low poly, and the sounds are terrible. The damage modeling is pretty average apart from the cars bodywork tending to make a "spiky" sort of shape when crumpling. I did however like the reflections and the shadows that cast into the interior, seen below...

Overall, I'm not impressed and shall not be buying.

You make a good conversation RAM. Your definitely the kind of guy I would love to have a beer with.

I totally agree about finding that perfect balance in life. At the moment, I'm quite contempt with my life. I have a fairly small family, with it consisting of my Girlfriend who lives with me, my Father, 2 Brothers and a Sister in-law. I work my butt off everyday to bring home the bacon (as does my partner of course) and try to make the best living I can for me and her, as well as trying to secure a decent future for any children we may have in the future. However, as much as I love my Job (and I do have fun. My cars are my fun. ), an opportunity for me and my girlfriend to move to Ireland has come, and so by Christmas this year, we shall be living there. It's a risk I've decided to take because if all goes well, then the business opportunity over there mean that potentially, we could be living a much more "comfortable" life with in the next 5 years. And yet, it also has the chance of going catastrophically wrong and me ending up much worse off. But that, is exactly what I think life is about, taking risks, and living every day of your life as if it is your last.

Quote from RiseAgainstMe! :Hope for an afterlife, but don't count on it.

See, now this is where I'm messed up.

As I said above, I do not believe in there being any God of sorts, but I do believe that there is something out there that watches your actions, and then decides to consequences to go with those actions, be it good or bad. I have no thoughts on whether this "thing" is an object or not. All I can explain is that I think there must be something there.

The same goes for when we die. It's a touchy subject, and one that many people do not seem to enjoy discussing. As for me, I'm fascinated by it. I don't mean this in a sadistic sense, but more in a "what's going to happen" way. Me, You, and every single person in this world are chasing dreams and goals. We all want the perfect life, and will sometimes stop at absolutely nothing to get it, even if it means taking risks. Thinking about this sometimes makes me a little sad, and sometimes annoyed, because life is fun and I have no doubts about that, but it also seems very cruel. Think about it. We are born into a world where at some point in our life (and usually many times), we are guaranteed to suffer many horrible emotions and feelings, like fear, pain, grief and anger. We then work non-stop, every day, to make a life of our own and for our kids, and there kids, etc. It just feels cruel for us as Human beings to do all this, only for it inevitably ended at some point in our lives, and this specific point is unavoidable and one which we cannot control. It just seems ironic how almost everything in our life is controllable to a degree, and yet we cannot control our fate.

This then brings me onto another point. What is waiting for us when we die? I've heard many beliefs of what happens when we are knocking on deaths door, some of which I find ridiculous, but I respect peoples beliefs and therefore do not try to sway them into my own. Personally, I believe there will be something there for us when we die. Maybe it will be a artificial life, one which is like your old life but all in a dream? That's what I like to believe anyhow.

Sorry if I sounded a little "dark" in that post. I really do have a lust for life and I love my own. It's just sometimes, my mind really wanders off, and I find myself day dreaming about this kind of thing very intensely.

I was christened as a little boy, but I do not belong to any religion, I do not not go to Church or anything like that, and I do not believe in Gods of any sort. I therefore class myself as an Atheist.

I must ask though, what is your guys opinion on Karma? Is it classed as a religion or just a superficial belief? I personally do believe in Karma, and that if you continue to do bad things, they will eventually catch up to you and bite you in the ass, figuratively speaking.
